I gotta wonder if Morano's really thinkin' about the bigger picture here . I mean, sure, it might make some people's commutes easier, but what about all the other factors that come into play? Like, have you seen those schools near Tottenville High School? It's like a one-way street during rush hour! You gotta consider the safety of all those kids walkin' to and from school. And don't even get me started on pedestrians with disabilities or seniors who might need more time to cross the road... it's just not that simple .

And let's be real, if Morano's really thinkin' about alleviatin' congestion, maybe he should be lookin' into ways to improve public transportation in Staten Island instead of tweakin' traffic rules . Just a thought!

I think it's cool that Councilmember Morano is proposing this study . It shows he's willing to listen to both sides and find a solution that works for everyone. I've been stuck in traffic on the Verrazano Bridge too many times, so I can see how this could help ease congestion . But at the same time, I do worry about safety, especially with all those schools nearby . Maybe we can look into ways to make sure pedestrians are protected while still allowing drivers some flexibility? That way, everyone can get where they need to go safely and efficiently .
