Steelers Center Ryan McCollum credits his professional NFL career to his Houston upbringing

The idea that growing up in a specific region can shape someone's future is kinda cool, don't you think? 🤔 Like, if you're surrounded by opportunities and people who believe in you from a young age, it can make all the difference. I mean, Ryan McCollum was basically given every chance to succeed because of where he lived, and it paid off big time.

But at the same time, I wonder what would've happened if he'd left Texas and gone somewhere else? Would he still be playing in the NFL? It's hard to say. What do you think? 🤷‍♂️

I'm so stoked for Ryan McCollum right now 🤩! It's amazing how local roots and support can make such a huge difference in someone's life, you know? He's literally from Texas and he ended up making it big with the Steelers... that's some serious hometown pride 💪. I love how he stayed true to his college roots at A&M too - it's clear that his admiration for DeMeco Ryans and the team played a huge role in him choosing Texas A&M as his university. And now, he gets to play in front of his friends and family in this playoff game... what a dream come true 😊!
