I'm so sorry I missed this thread ! But seriously, this trailer gives me major chills . The whole 'Lord of the Flies' vibe is super intense and it's crazy to think that these kids are going through all that on a deserted island . It's like, they're literally living out the worst nightmare of their childhoods . I love how they tried to make Ralph's character sound so good at first, but then Jack takes over and it just gets dark and twisted . Anyone else think that this adaptation is gonna be super hard to watch?
ugh this sounds so intense can't believe those kids are stuck on an island with no adult supervision it's like, what even is human nature right? will they be able to find a way off or will they just turn into savages
I'm not sure I trust this adaptation being based on Golding's original novel... sounds like it's gonna be some sensationalized drama to get people hooked. Can we get a source from Golding himself or his family confirming that their vision is staying true? The BBC might be trying to capitalize on the popularity of the book, but let's not just take their word for it. I'm all about the facts, you know?
