Streetscape upgrades on South Broad Street's Avenue of the Arts set to begin this month

🤔 so I'm thinking this is gonna be a game changer for South Broad St? 🚧 I mean, $150 million is a lot of cash, but if it brings in more tourists and makes the area feel more vibrant, then it's worth it, right? 💸 The greenery on medians and sidewalks will definitely make the place look nicer. And I'm lowkey excited about the public art installations 🎨👀

I just hope they don't forget about parking and accessibility for locals. Don't wanna be stuck with limited spots or have to navigate a whole new area, you know? 😂 But overall, it's cool that they're investing in the community and trying to make it more welcoming for everyone.

I'm curious to see how it'll look once it's all done – will it feel like a real cultural destination? 🎭👀 And what about the pop-up performance spaces? Will we get to see some sick shows or events? 🤩

idk why they're making such a big deal outta this... seems like just another city trying to clean up its act 🤔. have we forgotten how many times they've renovated this same area? i mean, isn't that what AveArts 1 was supposed to do in the first place? now they're doubling down on "AveArts 2.0" with even more cash... like, what's the real plan here? 🤑 also, $150 million is insane! can we see any of that money actually benefiting the community or just lining the pockets of city officials? 🤷‍♂️

idk about this one... 🤔 they're spending like $150 million and making the avenue more pedestrian-friendly which is cool i guess but its also gonna be pretty crowded with all the tourists and stuff... what's stopping them from just opening up new spaces for locals instead of gentrifying the area? 🏙️

omg can't wait for AveArts 2.0 to finally kick off! 🤩 it's about time philly gets its act together and turns south broad street into a real tourist destination. i mean, who doesn't love a good artsy vibe? 💡 the greenery on medians and sidewalks is gonna be everything. and public art installations are always so cool! 🎨 can't wait to see some sick murals pop up along that avenue. also, the idea of outdoor performance spaces is genius. we need more events like the philly fringe fest in this city! 🎭💥
