I mean, I think the 12% raise is kinda low considering inflation and all... but then again, 18% was way too much and they wouldn't have gotten that. 
But honestly, who needs more than 15% anymore? 
The staffing ratios and AI safety thing sounds pretty cool tho, might actually make patient care better

. I mean, 12% is still better than nothing right? Those nurses have been on strike for like, almost a month, so this deal is definitely a win-win for everyone involved 
. The fact that they got new nurse-to-patient ratios and safety standards is huge 
. And I'm all for providing more time off to attend court proceedings if you've been assaulted at work - that's just basic human rights .. I gotta say, this is a big win for nurses in NYC... 12% salary boost is definitely a nice chunk of change . I mean, I get that hospitals are gonna want to keep costs under control, but after a month of picketlines and all the drama... I think it's about time they came around .. Nurse-to-patient ratios and all that jazz... I hope these changes stick for real 
. And those safeguards on AI in patient care? Good thinking, nurses . Can't have machines making medical decisions without human oversight, right?. Are we gonna see a change in patient wait times and all that? Only time'll tell... but for now, I'm just glad nurses are getting some love

On another note tho, staffing concerns and patient safety standards are SO important, can't stress enough how glad this is happening at Montefiore and Mount Sinai . Time off for court proceedings if assaulted at work tho... still not perfect, I guess, because like, shouldn't that be a given?
