Sunday's high school basketball scores and schedule

Local High Schools Make Noise on the Court

In a weekend filled with intense basketball action, several local high schools showcased their skills and competitiveness. The stands were abuzz as these teams battled it out in thrilling matches.

At DePaul Prep, the team dominated the court, taking down Hyde Park 60-28. Kenwood followed suit, defeating St. Francis de Sales 50-35. Meanwhile, Simeon High proved to be an unstoppable force, crushing Manley 81-51.

In a highly anticipated matchup, St. Ignatius took on Benet in the De La Salle-St. Ignatius series, emerging victorious with a score of 69-65. The match also secured their spot as the title winners in the competition.

The rivalry between St. Laurence and Richards was another highlight, with St. Laurence securing the win by 29 points, 69-40. Evergreen Park's 69-67 upset over St. Rita was a nail-biting finish that left fans on the edge of their seats. In other matchups, Tinley Park edged out Hancock 44-48 and U-High won 42-48 against Johnson.

On the other side of town, Peoria IMSA took down Pekin 57-48 in the Roundball Classic.

ugh what a bummer πŸ€• that st laurence was only able to beat richards by 29 points lol like they really struggled out there πŸ˜… andtinley park losing to hancock is a total letdown πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ meanwhile simeon high just dominated every single game and it's just so unfair πŸ‘Ž

πŸ€πŸ˜‚ what's up with all these high schools making noise on the court? I mean, it sounds like they're trying to out-shout each other to see who's the real MVP 🀣. But seriously, it's awesome to see the local talent shine through! DePaul Prep and Kenwood are killing the game πŸ’ͺ. And St. Ignatius' win over Benet? That's like, the ultimate buzzer-beater 😲. I'm just here for the drama and the slam dunks 🀩. Who else is hyped for these young ballers to take their skills to the next level? πŸš€

i'm all about supporting our local high school teams but can't help feeling that there's more to basketball than just winning πŸ€πŸ‘. these young athletes are not only talented but also learning valuable life skills like teamwork, discipline and perseverance. what if we could apply those same values to real-life issues like climate change, social inequality and economic justice? πŸ’‘ imagine the impact we could make as a community if we combined our passion for sports with our commitment to creating positive change 🌟

πŸ€ gotta give props to St Ignatius, they really brought their A game against Benet πŸ€‘ but what's with all these blowouts? Like, DePaul Prep dominated Hyde Park by 32 points... that's just too much of a difference 🀯 and isn't it weird how some teams are way ahead of the competition? πŸ’‘ Tinley Park vs Hancock was like watching paint dry 😴

I gotta say, these high school basketball games were lit 🀩! I mean, DePaul Prep just annihilated Hyde Park like 32 points difference is crazy 😲. And St Ignatius beating Benet 69-65? That's some clutch shooting right there πŸ’ͺ. But what I loved most was the rivalries - St Laurence vs Richards was so intense, and that finish from Evergreen Park against St Rita had me on the edge of my seat πŸŽ₯. These kids are the future of hoops, can't wait to see them compete at the next level! πŸ‘

these high schools are totally crushing it on the court πŸ€πŸ’₯ i mean, DePaul Prep and Kenwood are straight fire πŸ”₯ and Simeon High is just unstoppable πŸ’ͺ st ignatius taking down benet was a major upset tho 🀯 gotta respect the competition though, it's not easy being a high school basketball star πŸ™Œ

I gotta say, I'm loving the competitiveness on display here 🀩. Local high schools are really stepping up their game when it comes to basketball! The wins by DePaul Prep and Kenwood against tougher opponents like Hyde Park and St. Francis de Sales show that these teams have got some serious skill πŸ’ͺ.

And wow, Simeon High is a force to be reckoned with - 81 points in one match? That's just insane 🀯. But what I find really interesting is how each of these matches showcases the unique strengths and styles of each team. Like, St. Ignatius' win over Benet was all about their team defense, which showed that they're not just a one-trick pony 🚫.

I also love how some of these matchups are really close - like Evergreen Park's upset over St. Rita? That was a nail-biter for sure πŸ˜…. And the rivalry between St. Laurence and Richards is always going to be intense, given their long history of competition 🀝.

But what I think is even more impressive is how all these teams are coming together to make this tournament so exciting. It's not just about individual teams - it's about the community spirit and school pride that comes with competing at such a high level ❀️.

And St. Ignatius is literally unstoppable πŸ˜‚, taking down Benet 69-65? Yessss, they're the title winners for sure! And that Evergreen Park upset over St. Rita was insane 😲... who knew Peoria IMSA could take down Pekin too? πŸ’ͺ Can't wait to see what's next for these teams! πŸ€πŸ’₯

Man, these high school basketball teams are on fire πŸ’₯! You gotta love how intense it is when they're all vying for that top spot πŸ†. I mean, St. Ignatius totally shut down Benet's offense and came out on top with a narrow margin - talk about clutch performances ⏰! And can we talk about Evergreen Park's upset over St. Rita? The tension must've been palpable as the clock ticked away πŸ•°οΈ... I'm seriously hyped to see which team will take it all the way this season πŸ”₯!

I'm loving how local high school basketball is getting so much love! It's awesome to see all these talented young players showcasing their skills on the court πŸ€πŸ‘. I think what's really cool about this weekend was seeing some upsets, like Evergreen Park taking down St. Rita - that must've been super thrilling for the fans! 😲 Tinley Park and Hancock might not have won, but they gave it a good run, right? πŸ’ͺ Anyway, can't wait to see how these teams stack up against each other in the next round... Bring on the competition! πŸ’₯

πŸ€πŸ‘ Just saw those highlights from the weekend and I'm so hyped for DePaul Prep's dominant win 🀯! Kenwood and Simeon High were on fire too πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ But what really got me was St. Ignatius taking down Benet in that nail-biting match πŸ˜±πŸ‘€ And can we talk about St. Laurence's 29-point win over Richards? πŸ’₯πŸ” Evergreen Park's upset over St. Rita was so close I was on the edge of my seat πŸ€―πŸ‘ The basketball scene is just getting more intense and exciting πŸ”„πŸ’ͺ

Just saw this round-up from local high school basketball and I'm impressed by how far these kids have come 🀯! But seriously, it got me thinking - what's with all the emphasis on winning at such a young age? I mean, don't get me wrong, sports are an amazing way to build character and teamwork skills, but shouldn't we be focusing more on developing those qualities rather than just coming out on top?

And can we talk about how crazy some of these scores are?! 🀯 81-51?! That's like, a whole different game! It sounds like some of these teams are struggling to develop their strategy or something. Anyways, I'm glad to see the local high schools getting some love and having fun playing hoops πŸ’ͺ.

omg did u know that there's this one player from st ignatius who's supposed to be super good he scored like over 20 points in each game i wonder if hes gonna get a college scholarship πŸ€”πŸ€ anyway, its so cool how these high school basketball teams are all playing each other theyre all so competitive and hyped u should check out the games on stream or youtube i heard st laurence's win over richards was super close πŸ‘€
