Super League Magic Weekend returns for 2026 at Everton Football Club's Hill Dickinson Stadium | Full fixtures revealed

Super League Magic Weekend is set to return to the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool next July. The 19th edition of this unique event, which features an entire round of Super League fixtures played over two days, will take place on July 4 and 5, with all matches live on Sky Sports.

Last month's Ashes Test at Everton's new home made history as a sell-out crowd of 52,106 attended the match, marking the first non-football event to be held there. The stadium's success is expected to make it an ideal venue for Magic Weekend, which will feature some exciting matches and rivalries.

On Saturday, July 4, Huddersfield Giants will face York Knights, followed by a high-stakes clash between Hull KR and Hull FC, one of the fiercest local derbies in the Super League. The evening will conclude with Leigh Leopards taking on Warrington Wolves.

Sunday's schedule gets underway with Wakefield Trinity facing Castleford Tigers, setting the stage for another thrilling day of rugby league action. Leeds Rhinos will then take on Bradford Bulls, one of the biggest rivalries in the competition, before the weekend's main event: a blockbuster showdown between Wigan Warriors and St Helens.

πŸ€” This Magic Weekend thing sounds like a cover for something bigger. I mean, who needs two whole days of rugby league when you've got a sell-out crowd at the Ashes Test? πŸ€‘ It's just too convenient that they're bringing it back to Liverpool next year... what's really going on behind the scenes? Maybe it's a secret hub for top-secret sports experiments πŸ‹οΈβ€β™‚οΈπŸ’ͺ. And have you noticed how every big event is suddenly taking place at stadiums with weirdly impressive capacities? It's almost like they're testing the water for something bigger, like a new sport or something... 🀫 I'm onto it, folks! 🚨

I'm kinda excited about Magic Weekend, but at the same time I've got a feeling it's gonna be pretty pricey for most fans πŸ€‘. Like, Β£50+ ticket prices? It's already off-putting just reading that. Still, gotta admit, some of these matches are looking really juicy - like that Hull KR vs Hull FC derby on Saturday is gonna be EPIC! 🀯 But the cost is a big barrier for me, I'm not sure if it'll be worth it. On top of that, the fact that they're choosing the same venue as last year's Ashes Test raises questions about sustainability and whether they're doing enough to support local businesses...

I don’t usually comment but the Super League Magic Weekend is gonna be lit this year 🀩. I mean, who doesn't love a good rugby league match, right? And having it at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool sounds like an awesome idea - it's got that big stadium feel to it, you know? The Ashes Test at Everton's new home was crazy last month, so it'll be interesting to see how many people turn up for Magic Weekend. I'm a bit surprised they're doing two days of matches though, it might get a bit overwhelming for some fans 🀯. But hey, more rugby is always welcome in my book!

The magic of community and support is something to behold! πŸŽ‰ Think about it, a stadium that was meant for football ended up hosting one of the most successful non-football events, and now they're going to host this Super League Magic Weekend? It's like how when we come together as a group, our collective energy can make even the impossible seem possible. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good local derby? πŸ˜„ The rivalry between Hull KR and Hull FC is always intense, but it's also what makes their matches so thrilling to watch! So yeah, this Magic Weekend is going to be EPIC! 🀩
