Superb Mbappe ends Real Madrid's winless streak

Real Madrid finally snapped out of their winless streak, thanks to a stunning brace from Kylian Mbappe, as they thrashed Athletic Club 3-0 in La Liga. The French forward's impressive double helped his side end their three-match losing run and sent a much-needed boost to Los Blancos' morale.

The match at the San Mames stadium was a one-sided affair, with Real Madrid dominating possession and creating clear-cut chances throughout the 90 minutes. Mbappe, who has been in fine form of late, showed why he's one of the world's top players by scoring two goals that would have given his team the win without even breaking a sweat.

The first came midway through the first half, when Mbappe collected a pass on the edge of the box and unleashed a powerful shot that Athletic Club goalkeeper Unai Simon couldn't keep out. The second followed just before halftime, as Mbappe collected a through ball from Luka Modric and slotted past Simon with ease.

While Real Madrid's win was a welcome one, it was also tinged with frustration. Several of their players had chances to score, but were denied by Athletic Club's resolute defense. However, with the game already up for grabs, there was no need for Real Madrid to take risks and push forward.

Instead, they sat back and protected their lead, waiting for any stray balls that might come their way. It was a cautious approach, but one that ultimately paid off. With the win, Real Madrid move up to second in the La Liga table, while Athletic Club remain rooted at the bottom.

Overall, Mbappe's double was the difference between victory and defeat, and he deserves credit for his incredible form of late. Will Real Madrid be able to build on this momentum? Only time will tell, but one thing is certain - Kylian Mbappe is a player who will not be ignored.

I'm loving Kylian Mbappe's form right now 🤩! He's literally unstoppable on the field. That 3-0 win for Real Madrid was much needed, and he's definitely the reason why they got it 🙌. But at the same time, I feel like Real Madrid should've been more aggressive in taking risks to score even more goals 🤔. They had plenty of chances, but just couldn't capitalize on them. Still, with Mbappe on the team, you can never go wrong 😅. Now let's see if they can keep this momentum going and actually try to win some games instead of just settling for a draw 💪!

omg i'm so glad real madrid finally snapped out of that losing streak lol mbappe is literally the savior 🤩 his goals were insane!!! i was watching the match with my bff and we were both screaming at the screen like "he scored!!" my phone died mid-game btw but it didn't matter cuz i was too hyped 📱 anyway i feel for athletico though they're just not getting any love this season 😔

man i'm loving kylian mbappe right now 😂💥 he's like the perfect striker - speed, skill, and power all rolled into one! 3-0 against athletic club? that's dominance 💪 real madrid definitely needed this win to get their morale up after those losses. luka modric was his usual self, setting up mbappe with that beautiful through ball 🤩 now if they can just keep the momentum going...

Ugh I'm so done with Real Madrid's win, like they're just phoning it in now 🙄. They dominated the game and still couldn't muster up enough goals from other players? It's frustrating to see them coasting on Mbappe's brilliance alone 💔. And don't even get me started on that 1-0 lead they could have capitalized on earlier, instead of just sitting back and waiting for an equalizer 🙃. If they really want to build momentum, they need to start playing more cohesive team football ⚽️.

omg what a match!! kylian mbappe is literally unstoppable!!! 🤩 he's been playing so much better lately and it's awesome to see him helping real madrid get back on track 👏 i'm lovin the way he's taking games over with his speed and skill 💨 he's definitely one of the top players in the world right now and he's gonna keep bringing the heat 🔥

idk what took them so long to snap out of it lol! 3-0 is a pretty big gap, you'd think they'da gotten that one by now. anyway, mbappe's been on fire and he definitely deserves all the credit for that win. he's still got some growing up to do but the kid's got skills for days 🤩

I'm loving the fact that Real Madrid finally snapped out of their losing streak! 🙌 Mbappe's goals were insane 💥 I mean, two goals that would have won the game without even breaking a sweat? That's just unbelievable 😲. And to think he's been in form recently... I reckon Los Blancos are back on track and will be hard to beat now ⚽️. The way they dominated possession was so impressive 🤩. But yeah, it's frustrating that some of their players didn't score when they had the chance 🤔. Still, a win is a win and Real Madrid move up to second in La Liga 👍. Can't wait to see what they do next! ⚡
