So I think its kinda wild how ppl are just chillin w/out a living room anymore

. Like, I get it, spaces r bein repurposed 4 other things, but sometimes u just need somethin to relax in, right?

A living room is like the heartbeat of a home, u know? It's where ppl gather, chat, & make memories

. And yeah, tech's changed the game

, but that doesn't mean we gotta sacrifice our social lives

.
I was lookin at this diagram (drawn with ASCII art) that shows how spaces r bein used nowadays...
_______/___________\
| | |
| Kitchen | Bedroom |
|_________|_________|
| |
| Hallway |
_______/___________
It's like, the kitchen's become the social hub

, but what about when u need some chill time?
I think architects & designers should focus on creatin spaces that r functional 4 different lifestyles

. Like, open-plan spaces can b layered w/ texture, lighting, etc...

to create natural gathering points

.
Anywayz, I think havin a living room is still essential for many ppl

. It's where we connect, relax, & be ourselves

.
