I thought Guillaume del Toro's take on Frankenstein was really good. I love how he makes you feel sorry for the monster 
. The creature design is insane, it looks like something from a sci-fi dream 
. But, I did find Victor Frankenstein's character a bit boring, I wish they had made him more interesting 
. Del Toro is known for making complex stories, but this one felt a bit too faithful to the original, it was slow-paced at times 
. Still, I think he did an amazing job on the details and atmosphere of the film

. like, oscar isaac's victor frankenstein feels more like a caricature of the character than actual depth
