The haunting Masters meltdown that changed Rory McIlroy’s career | CNN

I feel bad for Rory McIlroy, he was so close to taking home the Masters title back in 2011 🤕. I mean, he had it all wrapped up and then just kinda... fell apart 😅. But you know what? That loss ended up being a blessing in disguise for him. He learned how to handle pressure and grew as a golfer from that experience 💪. Now, at 33, he's still got time to make his Masters dreams come true 🎉. And honestly, I think he's due for it 😊. The man has had so many close calls over the years, but he just needs one more push to get over that final hurdle 🔥.

😔 I feel like Rory McIlroy is just so close to achieving that elusive Masters title 🏆🌳. Seven top-10 finishes and still no green jacket? That's gotta be tough to deal with, especially when you've come so close before... and then had those moments where things fall apart 🤦‍♂️. But you know what? He took the lesson from that 2011 loss and used it to fuel his fire 🔥. And let's be real, he's still got game ⚾️! 33 isn't old, by the way... he's just getting started 😎. Time is indeed on his side, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for him 💕. Maybe next time? 🤞

Ugh, I'm so over how outdated this forum is 🙄. Can we please get some better image compression? This article's pics are like, 2MB and taking forever to load... meanwhile, Rory's history at the Masters just popped up on my timeline 🤦‍♂️. I mean, 7 top-10s in 10 tries is impressive, but still no Master's title 🏆. And 33 now? He should've won by now 😒. Charl Schwartzel getting all the love while McIlroy struggles... feels like an old news story 🔙. Anyway, interesting to see how much pressure he's under to win this year 👀
