The IOC and Saudi Arabia call it quits on their Olympic esports partnership

I'm shocked! 🤯 I remember when esports was still a relatively new thing and people were getting hyped about it. Now, you've got major organizations like the IOC getting involved and it's all about the benjamins 💸. I mean, $55 billion? That's just crazy talk! 😱 It's great that they're pushing to rebrand themselves as champions of Olympic values, but can we trust them when their Saudi partner has such a shady human rights record?

I'm glad they're distancing themselves from that mess 🙏, but it's gonna be hard for them to shake off the whole " IOC = hypocrite" vibe 💔. As someone who grew up watching the Olympics, I've seen some controversy come and go, but this one feels different. Maybe they'll figure it out, but until then, I'm just gonna sit back, watch, and see what happens 📺

I feel like the IOC is trying to save face here 🤔, but really, they should've just been upfront about their concerns in the first place. I mean, 55 billion dollars is a lot of money, but not worth compromising on human rights issues, right? 😒 It's like they're playing a game of "look at me, I'm inclusive" while secretly doing nothing to address the real problems 🤷‍♂️. What's next, partnering with a country that's all about... um, let's just say, "entertainment"? 😜

omg what a mess 🤦‍♂️ these ppl r really making it hard 4 them selfs like whats the point of havin a big esport game if u cant even support human rights lol i mean i get it, money talks but cmon IOC do better than this 😒
