The kindness of strangers: alone in the crowd at Glastonbury, a stranger hugged me tight while I cried about my dead dad

OMG u no how emotional that sounds lol. Its so cool how that stranger just showed up & hugged her 2botes!! like they say good things come from unexpected ppl. its not always easy 2 find ppl willing 2 lend a helping hand wen ur down. but thats wut music & ppl r all about, right? 🎶💕
 
I mean, I love that heartwarming story about the Glastonbury festival 🤗, but can we talk about how cringeworthy it is to me? Like, I know everyone's happy to share these feel-good moments online, but come on, a girl gets hugged by a total stranger in tears and now she's got a forever friendship? 💁‍♀️👫 No thanks! And honestly, can't we just get rid of the obligatory "testament to human connection" tagline? It feels like every feel-good story these days needs to be summed up with some cheesy motivational jargon 🙄. Give me something new to obsess over, you know?!
