The Olive Boy review – a teenager's love letter to mothers everywhere

πŸ€£πŸŽπŸ˜‚πŸ‘ΆοΈ Ollie Maddigan's show is like me trying to adult, and failing miserably πŸ˜‚πŸ’”πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. But seriously though, who hasn't struggled with grief and being a teenager? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ This show is like my emotions in a bowl - messy, but somehow beautiful πŸŒΏπŸ’•. Go see it, bring tissues, and just let the feels wash over you πŸ˜πŸ‘€

I just saw this show and I'm still reeling 🀯. Ollie Maddigan's performance was honestly mesmerizing, he has this raw energy that just draws you in. But what really got me was how honest he was about the pain of losing a loved one. I think we can all relate to feeling like we're running away from our emotions as teenagers πŸ˜‚. The way he balanced humor with vulnerability was perfect, it's not always easy to see someone so brave on stage. I do wish there were more opportunities for support characters, but overall it was a beautiful tribute to his mum and I think we can all learn from Ollie's story πŸŒΏπŸ’•

omg just watched the most emotional show ever - Ollie Maddigan's "The Olive Boy" is literally heart-wrenching 🀯 i felt like i was right there with him, going through all those crazy emotions 😭 my mom passed away when i was a teenager too and it's so hard to explain how that feels... but ollie did an amazing job of capturing it in a way that's both funny and sad at the same time 🀣 the guy's got some serious talent πŸ’₯
