I mean, can you think of a better way to deal with all the drama and division going on in the world? it's like, we're so caught up in our own little bubbles, but this show is like, "nope, let's get out there and have some real conversations" 
and I love how they use the controversy to bring attention to important issues - abstinence, LGBTQ+ rights... it's not always easy, but it's so necessary right now
