The Strangers: Chapter 3 review – pointless remake trilogy ends with a sputter

I'm kinda surprised they decided to make it a trilogy tbh 🤔🎃 I mean, the first one was solid, but this one just feels like it's trying too hard to be something it's not. The plot is so predictable and the pacing is all over the place. I get that they wanted to explore more themes, but honestly, it just feels like they're adding unnecessary characters to try and make it more interesting 🤷‍♀️. I think if they had stopped at two, it would've been a better conclusion to the series 😐

Honestly, I don't think they needed a trilogy 😐. The first one was pretty chill and still holds up today 🎃. Adding more characters just made it feel like they were throwing darts at a board - some of them stuck, some didn't 💀. And can we talk about how the pacing is all over the place? It's like they're trying to be nostalgic for old-school horror but end up feeling like they're sleeping with one eye open 😴. Overall, I'm just disappointed it didn't live up to the hype 🤕.

lol what's up with these trilogies tho? 🤯 they're like the new black widow of remakes... always trying to squeeze 3 movies outta one original. and honestly, chapter 3 feels like a cash grab after that lukewarm response from chapter 2 😐 don't get me wrong, the originals were solid but this trilogy thing just didn't work out for it. 👎 now we're left with this watered down plot with new faces trying to make it exciting 🤷‍♀️

😐 I gotta say, i'm still tryin to get on board with this trilogy thing... felt like they were just phoning it in after the first two movies 📺👎. The new characters didn't really do much for me either, felt like more of the same old vibe 🤷‍♀️. And man, that plot pacing? It's like they're tryin to stretch something out just to make it 3 hours long 😴. Can't help but feel like they were just tryin to milk this franchise for all its worth 💸. The original was solid, don't get me wrong, but this last installment just feels like a waste of time 🕰️

I don’t usually comment but... I mean, I was really looking forward to this trilogy, you know? I loved the first film, it was so tense and creepy 🕷️. But now I'm just kinda disappointed. Adding more characters felt like a weird move, like they were trying too hard to make it work 🤔. And don’t even get me started on the pacing, 30 minutes of awkward pauses is just too much 😴. I think what really bothered me was that the themes of the film got lost in all the extra plot stuff. It’s like they wanted to explore this cool idea about an American community embracing killers who target outsiders, but then it gets glossed over and you’re left with... not much 🤷‍♀️. The original 'Strangers' still holds up today, unfortunately, this final installment feels like a waste of time ⏰.

omg I'm so confused about this remaking thingy... like what was wrong with the first one? I remember watching it 15 yrs ago and it gave me major nightmares 🤯 anyway, I dont get why they needed a trilogy... it just felt like too much... the woodland scene is still creepy asf but Maya's face stuck in that phone is just weird 😂 and 2 masked killers vs 3 was like a whole diff vibe... maybe they wanted to explore more themes or something? idk, the pacing issue is def a major no-go... it felt like they were dragging it out for too long 🕰️
