Trump's approval ratings are tanking anyway, maybe this is just a wake-up call for him to focus on domestic issues instead of trying to be the World Leader 
. And let's not forget, Venezuela has been in crisis mode since 2013... what makes now any different than last time? 
The US has a history of supporting authoritarian governments in Latin America, so is this just more of the same old thing? 
. Maybe instead of stepping in, we should just try to support countries from within, you know? Like, help 'em out with aid or something. That way we can actually make a difference without messing things up even more

and what really gets me is how they always justify these actions as being for democracy and human rights, but let's be real we all know that's just a nice way of saying "we want what we want" 
. And it's not like the US has never done this before, like remember when they supported Augusto Pinochet in Chile or something? It's like they're trying to play the victim here, but at the same time I do think they have a point about Maduro being kinda out of touch with the people...but that doesn't mean we should just step in and take over
