“They Could See My Color”: Minneapolis Uber Driver Speaks Out on Why Border Patrol Accosted Him

🤯 This story is literally giving me LIFE 🌟. Ahmed's response to the Border Patrol agent was everything I needed - a perfect blend of calm confidence and defiance! I mean, can you blame him for not sharing his ID or citizenship status? That guy was clearly trying to bully him into submission. 😒

But what really gets me is how Ahmed turned that negative interaction into a powerful moment for himself and others. He's an inspiration to anyone who's ever faced racism or xenophobia, especially those in marginalized communities. His bravery is a reminder that we don't have to be silenced or intimidated by hate speech.

It's amazing to see someone using their platform (or in this case, the Uber driver app 🚗) to spread love and positivity instead of fear and anger. Ahmed's actions are a testament to the power of resilience and community. We need more people like him! 💖

😱 just heard about this crazy story with Ahmed Bin Hassan, an Uber driver who stood up to a Border Patrol agent who was spewing racist comments 🤬. I'm all for calling out hate speech, but I gotta feel for the guy - he's been through so much already dealing with racism and xenophobia in his career 🤕. His reaction might have been unorthodox, but it's clear he wasn't going down without a fight 💪. It's scary that these agents felt threatened enough to threaten physical harm... that's some messed up stuff 😓. Kudos to Ahmed for speaking out and standing up for what's right - we need more people like him! 👏

🤯😱 Oh man what kinda vibes is this?! So some dude makes a racist comment to an Uber driver at the airport and then gets all salty when the driver calls him out on it? 🙄 Like, get over yourself, dude! 😂 The fact that the agent was threatening physical harm just because he didn't want to share his ID is straight up messed up. And what's with the ICE officers knowing him? That just sounds like a whole other level of BS. 😒 Ahmed Bin Hassan's response though... I gotta give it to him, that takes some serious guts. He's not gonna back down from someone who's trying to intimidate him and make him feel small. Kudos to him for speaking out against racism and not letting it get the best of him. 💪

idk what's more shocking - the fact that some ppl still spew racism or that this isnt the 1st time this happens 🤯. i mean, come on, if u r gonna make racist comments, at least have the guts 2 do it face 2 face with ur victim, like bin hassan did 💪. anyway, gotta give props to him 4 standin up 4 himself & others like him 👍

🤯 this is so messed up 🙄 u can just imagine being in ahmeds shoes 😬 like he's already been through racism & xenophobia as a mechanic engineer 🤦‍♂️ and now this border patrol agent comes at him with racist remarks 😡 it's like they're trying to make his life even harder 💔 but what i find really brave is how ahmed just rolls with it 🎮 and uses humor to deflect the situation 🤣 he doesn't take the bait like most ppl would 👊 and honestly, that's some clever tactics right there 🤓

🤔 This is so messed up! Like, how can someone just make fun of someone's name and ID badge? 😡 The Border Patrol agent was totally in the wrong here 🚫. Ahmed did what he had to do to defend himself and now people are talking about it 💬. It's crazy that he faced threats from federal agents but still speaks out against racism 🗣️. We need more people like him who aren't afraid to call out BS when they see it 💯. Uber should be so proud of him for standing up for what's right and creating a safe space for all drivers, regardless of their background 🚗💕
