omg I'm so over these recommendations 🤯 they're all so old!!! when's the last time someone wrote a book that's actually relevant to our lives today? I mean "The Loves of My Life" is like 20 years old... didn't they write something new since then? 😒 and what's with the repetition of "Perspectives" by Laurent Binet? come on, mix it up a bit! 🤪
 
🤔 I was just reading about the power of memoirs and how they can be so therapeutic for people who've gone through tough times 📚 "The Loves of My Life" by Edmund White is on my list, but what caught my eye is that it's also listed under non-fiction 🤷‍♂️ I guess you could say it's a bit of both? Anyway, have you read any of the other memoirs on the list? 📝
 
🤕 Another year, another crop of bestselling authors struggling with mental health 🤯. Edmund White's memoirs are literally just a string of antidepressants and therapy sessions strung together... I mean, "The Loves of My Life" is actually kinda deep, but only if you're into that whole "trauma and self-discovery" vibe 💔.

And don't even get me started on the overlap between genres 🤯. Laurent Binet's book "Perspectives" should probably just be stuck in one category to avoid confusing readers 😅. And what's up with all these romance novels? It's like everyone's secretly writing about their own therapy sessions 💘.

Oh, and a side note: have you seen the sales figures for these books? 📈 They're just a reminder that our society is still struggling to address real issues like mental health and trauma 💔. Not exactly the most uplifting stuff... 😒
 
I'm seeing a lot of repeats on that list lol 🤣. And what's up with all the Edmund White recommendations? Not saying they're bad or anything, but maybe give some other authors a chance too 😊.
 
omg i'm so glad to see memoirs back on the list 📚✨ especially "The Loves of My Life" by Edmund White, it's such a beautiful book about love & loss... and can we talk about how Laurent Binet has two books on this list? he's like the master of perspectives 🤯 i also need to get my hands on those sci-fi recs like "The Power" by Naomi Alderman & "The Fifth Season" by N.K. Jemisin, they sound so intriguing!
 
I think it's so cool that there are books for every genre 🤩, but I'm a bit confused why "Perspectives" by Laurent Binet is listed twice 📚😕. And what's up with the romance section having two mentions of "The Loves of My Life" which I assume is just an error? 🙃 It would be awesome to have more diversity in book recommendations, maybe some authors from different parts of the world? 🌎📖
