Ugh, I'm so sick of these "multi-platform deals" that just mean more clutter on my feed . Can't we just have a simple platform to watch soccer without all the extra nonsense? And what's with TikTok wanting to broadcast whole matches live? That's just going to be a headache for both them and us viewers. I mean, sure, they're trying to boost engagement, but can't they just use their algorithms to promote that instead of broadcasting every single highlight reel . And don't even get me started on the influencers... more people talking about soccer than actually playing it . It's like they think we all want to see some overpaid jock running around in shorts. Can't we just focus on the actual game?
The more I think about it, the more I'm worried that we're losing the essence of what makes football (or soccer) so great - the thrill of being present in the stadium, feeling the energy of the crowd, and experiencing the unpredictable moments on the field. By broadcasting only selected portions of matches on TikTok, are we really bringing fans closer to the action? I'm not convinced...
And what about the influencers and interactive features? Are they just going to create more noise and hype around the tournament without adding any real value to the fan experience? It feels like a marketing gimmick to me. But hey, if it works for FIFA and TikTok, I won't be complaining...
I'm so down for this! I mean, who doesn't love watching soccer on TikTok? It's gonna be sick having exclusive behind-the-scenes content and live match highlights . And can you imagine the energy around the world with all those interactive filters and stickers?! It's also cool that FIFA is giving creators a chance to shine, I'm sure it'll bring new fans to the table . The 2026 World Cup is gonna be lit!
