Today’s NYT ‘Pips’ Hints, Solution And Walkthrough For Monday, November 17

Monday Puzzle Alert: Cracking the Pips Code

The weekend is over, and it's time to dive back into puzzle-solving with today's Easy, Medium, and Hard Pips. The snowflakes are falling gently in the mountains, creating a serene atmosphere perfect for brain teasers.

To play Pips, you're given a grid of multicolored boxes, each representing a different condition that must be achieved. You have to use your dominoes strategically to fill in the grid while meeting every condition. There are three tiers: Easy, Medium, and Hard, with varying levels of complexity.

The conditions include "less than" or "greater than" symbols, which can affect the total value of tiles in a group. Each tile can have different values, from exact numbers to blank spaces, making each puzzle unique.

For today's Pips, let's start with the Easy and Medium tiers. The solution involves strategically placing dominoes to meet each condition while using up all your dominoes.

Now, onto the Hard Pips, a true challenge that requires attention to detail and strategic thinking. With numbers flowing like a river, it's essential to identify patterns and connections between tiles.

To solve the Hard Pips, start by focusing on the Pink 24 group, as it will require all your 6's. Next, place dominoes strategically to meet each condition, ensuring you're using every tile efficiently.

As you progress, remember that some conditions can have multiple solutions, so be prepared for different approaches. Keep track of your dominoes and tiles, making adjustments along the way.

In this puzzle, patience and persistence are key. Take your time, analyze each step carefully, and don't be afraid to experiment. The solution will require careful planning, attention to detail, and a bit of luck.

Now that you've cracked the Pips code, share your experience with fellow puzzle enthusiasts on social media. Don't forget to follow our blog for daily puzzle guides, TV show and movie reviews, and more!

omg i love these puzzles 🤯😃 theyre so relaxing & challenging at the same time...like, you gotta think outside the box but also not be too hard on yourself if u get stuck 1st 🙅‍♀️ i was thinking that maybe theres a pattern or sequence to the tiles in the easy ones? like, are there any specific numbers or colors that should be paired together? 💡 id love to see more examples of the easier puzzles so we can all get a feel for how it works 😊

OMG u guys I just solved like 3 levels of Pips already & I'm HOOKED 🤩 the way it's all about thinkin outside the box is literally genius 💡 the easiest part is the pink 24 group tho because who doesn't hate dealin with all those 6s 😂 anyway, good luck to u guys out there tryin to solve this puzzle & if ur stuck dont be afwaid to ask for help 🤗💬

🤔 I'm not sure about these new-fangled puzzles... my kiddo's been trying to get me into this Pips thing and honestly, it's just a bunch of squiggles on a screen 📺. Don't get me wrong, I love spending time with them and all, but sometimes I wish they'd just leave the brain teasers alone 😅. My child is way more logical than I am and can figure these puzzles out in like 2 seconds flat 🔥. Anyways, if you're into that sorta thing, go for it, puzzle master! Just don't expect me to join you anytime soon 😂.

I'm so over these puzzles 🙄. I mean, who thought it was a good idea to use dominoes as a metaphor for brain teasers? It's like they took all the excitement out of a simple game of tile-matching. And don't even get me started on the "Pink 24 group" - what's with that? Just pick a number already! 😒 But I guess it's kinda cool how they encourage us to think strategically and experiment... as long as we're not getting too frustrated, that is 💡
