Travis Pastrana's Return to NASCAR Set for Daytona Season Opener
Motocross legend Travis Pastrana is revving up his engines for a highly anticipated return to NASCAR. On February 13th at the Fresh From Florida 250 at Daytona International Speedway, Pastrana will put the pedal to the metal in a Craftsman Truck Series event with Niece Motorsports.
Pastrana, who has a strong background in racing, including full-time stints in the Xfinity and Cup Series as well as his own Gymkhana racing series, will be piloting the No. 42 Brunt Workwear Chevrolet for this inaugural event. This marks Pastrana's first NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race since 2023.
Pastrana is thrilled to return to competition and expressed his excitement in a team release: "I'm excited to get back on the track in Daytona with Brunt Workwear and Niece Motorsports." He went on to praise his new partner, Brunt Workwear, saying they've been an amazing addition to the Niece Motorsports family.
Niece Motorsports CEO Cody Efaw echoed Pastrana's sentiments, stating that he's been a long-time admirer of Pastrana's skills and it's been a pleasure working with him in NASCAR. Brunt Workwear founder Eric Girouard also chimed in, saying the brand is a natural fit for Niece Motorsports and they can't wait to see Pastrana behind the wheel.
The Fresh From Florida 250 will kick off the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season on February 13th at 7:30 p.m. ET. Fans can tune in to FS1, NRN Radio, and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio for all the action.
