I'm like totally torn on this one
... I mean, I get where Kat Abughazaleh was coming from, protesting outside an ICE facility can be super scary for people who work there... but at the same time, I don't think she and her crew broke any laws
. Like, yeah, they might've gotten a little rough, but it's not like they meant to hurt anyone... or is that what they were trying to do?
And honestly, some of these charges do seem kinda excessive
... eight years in prison for banging on a car and scratching a side mirror? That's just crazy talk! But at the same time, if they conspired to prevent ICE agents from doing their jobs, that's another story altogether
.
I'm also kinda salty that some people are accusing the Trump admin of trying to silence dissent... I mean, it sounds like a classic case of "he said, she said"
. But still, we gotta talk about this stuff and express ourselves peacefully, you know?
