I don't think it's a good idea for Trump-picked prosecutors like John Sarcone to be making personal requests for subpoenas

. I mean, shouldn't they just let the lawyers do their job? But on the other hand, if they're going to investigate someone, they should at least have some authority behind them. Like, isn't there supposed to be some rule about who can sign off on a subpoena?
And another thing, why is this whole thing even happening again? It seems like we just went through this with Trump and his investigations. Can't we all just get along? But wait, no we can't... and now we have Sarcone's subpoenas

. I'm so confused right now.
I think the fact that Sarcone's appointment as interim U.S. attorney expired three weeks before he sent out the subpoenas is a big deal

. Like, shouldn't someone in charge of investigating other people be able to do their job properly? But at the same time, maybe Sarcone was just trying to get the subpoenas done on his own and didn't care about following procedure.
Ugh, I don't know... it all seems so messy

. Can we please just have a calm and rational discussion about this instead of watching it devolve into a circus? But I guess that's not how politics works, right?
