Trump's 'affordability' efforts are a mess of absurdity and magical thinking | Steven Greenhouse

lol I'm so late to this thread 🙈, but like, come on Trump's policies have been a joke from day one and now he's trying to spin this whole "prices are down" thing? Please! I remember when he was first in office, everyone thought he was gonna do something about the rising costs of living, but nope, it's just been all about lining his own pockets. And don't even get me started on those tariffs - they're like a never-ending headache for everyday people. Like, have you tried to buy coffee or beef lately? It's crazy! The fact that he thinks a $2k dividend per person is gonna solve the problem is just laughable.

I mean come on 🤦‍♂️, this is getting out of hand! Trump's all talk no action when it comes to affordability. He thinks he can just wave a magic wand and prices will magically drop? Please 🙄. The fact that his tariffs are still causing prices to rise for everyday essentials like coffee and beef is a major red flag. And let's not forget the 42 million people struggling with food insecurity - where's the help from Trump? 🤷‍♂️ His $2,000 dividend per person idea? More like a recipe for disaster 💸. He's just trying to distract us from his own policies failing by blaming Biden and proposing crazy schemes like 50-year mortgages. Can't he just be honest with himself, let alone the American people? 🙄

omg can't believe trump's latest "move" 🙄 like he thinks we're all born yesterday? his whole thing is just about saving face and not actually doing anything concrete about affordability. rolling back tariffs ain't gonna cut it, fam 😒. 42 million people struggling to get food, 24 mil with skyrocketing health premiums... meanwhile trump's over here spewing false info like it's going out of style 🙃. and don't even get me started on that $2k dividend nonsense 🤑 more like a handout to his donors than actual help for the average joe 🤦‍♀️. this whole thing just feels like a huge PR fail, you feel?
