TV rights for new Women's Champions Cup remain unsold in blow to Fifa

The thing is, I think FIFA needs to rethink their strategy here 🤔. They're trying to push all these clubs into playing this tournament without even running a proper tender process... like what's the point of even having one if they're not gonna play it straight? And then they're surprised when nobody wants to buy the rights? Come on, make up your mind already! And what's with the calendar being so congested? Can't they just have a decent, manageable schedule for once? 🕒️ It's like they want to flood the market and hope something sticks. But honestly, it sounds like FIFA is just throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks... not exactly the most inspiring vision for the future of women's football 🎉

I think this is super disappointing 🤕. I mean, women's football is getting so popular and FIFA should be all about promoting that growth, you know? But instead, we're seeing these major broadcasters pass on TV rights deals? It just goes to show how much more work they need to do to convince people of its value.

And it's not like there aren't some awesome teams competing in this tournament either - Arsenal and Corinthians are super talented. But I guess if you don't have the right marketing strategy or approach, even with top-tier teams, broadcasters just won't bite 💸. It's all about supply and demand, but I still think FIFA should be pushing harder to get more eyeballs on this thing.

Maybe they can try streaming it online for free or offering exclusive matches to different regions? That would at least give people a chance to see what all the fuss is about 😊. We need to keep supporting women's football and making it a priority, you feel me? 💪
