The fog rolled in off the Po River as Benetton and Scarlets shared a dramatic United Rugby Championship draw at Treviso, with both teams unable to capitalize on late scoring opportunities. The Italian side had taken an early lead through centre Paolo Odogwu's try before Scarlets fought back through a trio of tries from Gareth Davies, Tomi Lewis, and Macs Page. Wales scrum-half Carwyn Leggatt-Jones slotted over the conversion for Davies' effort but missed another chance to level the scores when Page crossed. A late kick by Benetton fly-half Alessandro Garbisi put his side 20-15 in front but Farias narrowly missed a pair of long-range penalties.

The draw maintains Scarlets' hopes of a Six Nations qualification spot, while Benetton will be disappointed at missing out on a top-two finish. With the hosts having not lost to Welsh opposition since October last year, this result could prove significant in their battle for European qualification.
 
I don't get why teams can't just capitalize on scoring opportunities? 🤔 It's like they're playing two separate games at once - one where they score and one where they try not to concede! 😅 Anyways, it's cool that Scarlets are still in the running for Six Nations qualification. That's what matters most to fans like me. Treviso might be disappointed but a draw is still better than losing right? 🤷‍♂️ Benetton seems to have let some momentum slip away... guess you can't always get lucky with those long-range penalties 😬
 
I'm not convinced about the whole "Italian side had taken an early lead" thing 🤔... didn't they just get one try and then Scarlets came back strong? Also, why did Farias' long-range penalties keep missing? Did he even take a practice kick before trying them in the actual game? 🙄 I'd love to see some footage of those kicks... or at least a breakdown of what went wrong. And how come Benetton's fly-half was able to kick that late penalty, but Scarlets' scrum-half couldn't get their conversion right? It just doesn't add up... need more info on this one 👀
 
man this rugby match was SO intense!! i love how scarlets fought back from behind and took the game all the way till the end 🤯 it's gonna be super interesting to see how benetton recovers from that loss, they had such a great run going and were so close to taking the top spot. but hey, 6 nations qualification is still on for scarlets now, fingers crossed! 😅
 
man I'm so here for the Scarlets 💪 they've been grinding all season and it's awesome to see them finally getting some decent results 🤞 that Gareth Davies is a beast though! he's like the real MVP of the match 🙌 but omg Benetton was so close to taking it 20-15 was such a huge lead to have 🤑 I'm also kinda bummed for Benetton tho, they've been looking strong all season and this result might be a bit of a setback 😐 anyway, can't wait to see how the rest of the season unfolds 🎉
 
I'm loving this back-and-forth with rugby teams! The fact that Scarlets managed to claw back from being behind 20-15 is just insane 🤯. I mean, Benetton must've been thinking they were gonna put the hammer down, but those Welsh boys showed 'em who's boss 💪. Now, if only Farias could get that second penalty kick... it would've made all the difference! 😅 But you know how it is – the draw keeps Scarlets in the running for Six Nations, and Benetton's just gotta dust themselves off 🔄. Treviso's got some serious bragging rights now after outsmarting their Welsh opponents again 👊
 
I'm so frustrated with the way our sports leagues are still stuck in the past 🤯. I mean, can't we make some changes to promote more diversity and inclusion? Like, have you seen the lack of representation on the pitch today? Not a single player from a non-Euro background... it's like they're still trying to figure out what that looks like 🙄. And don't even get me started on the fan culture - I swear, it's all just about who's been drinking the most beers at the pub... 😴. We need some real change in our sports organizations if we want to make a difference and create a more inclusive environment for everyone 🌈.
 
the format is straight fire lol 🤩 but can we talk about why benetton's fly-half doesn't have a consistent narrative? every time they score or miss a penalty, it's Alessandro Garbisi doing this and that... give us more context pls? 📊 also, scarlets' tries are getting in so many times, i'm like "can tomilawis' try not be as exciting as the others tho" 😂 just kidding (kinda). anywayz, glad scarlets hold onto those hopes for six nations qualification 👍
 
Ugh, I'm so sick of these forums always being about sports 🤦‍♂️. Can we talk about something else for once? Like, did you see the state of the Treviso stadium? It's literally a mess. They're still playing with those old floodlights from the 80s. And don't even get me started on the commentary - it sounds like they're trying to put people to sleep 🙄.

Anyway, back to the game... I mean, I guess it was kinda exciting? Benetton's fly-half Alessandro Garbisi is actually pretty talented. But yeah, who gets stoked about rugby? It's all just a bunch of guys running around in shorts ⚽️. Can we please discuss something more interesting? Like, have you tried that new coffee shop downtown? 🎉
 
I'm so down with the Italian guys they totally deserved that win against the Scarlets 🤩 but at the same time I feel like Benetton kinda got lucky with those late kick conversions... I mean, who needs to miss a penalty and still take the lead? 😂 And can we talk about how awesome the Scarlets' tries were tho? Macs Page's try was insane! 👏 on the other hand, I'm really disappointed for Benetton they looked like they were gonna seal it but Farias just couldn't get it done 🤦‍♂️. Anyway, I guess this draw is a win-win for everyone involved... or something 😅
 
I don’t usually comment but... I'm surprised by how intense that match was! I mean, both teams were so evenly matched and neither could really take control of it. The fog adding to the atmosphere didn't help either 😅. I love how Scarlets are still in contention for a Six Nations spot though - they've got some talented players like Davies and Lewis. And Benetton will be gutted at missing out on that top-two finish... I guess you can say this draw was a bit of a mixed bag for both teams 🤔. The fact that Farias missed those penalty kicks is just a reminder that one bad kick can turn the whole game around 😳

I think Scarlets got a bit unlucky with those missed penalties by Farias... like if it was meant to be, it should've been 💫. Benetton's late kick was just enough to put them 20-15 ahead and they shouldn't complain too much about missing out on that top-two finish 😐. This draw is actually a huge boost for the Scarlets though - their chances of getting into Six Nations are still very much alive 🤞
 
ugh I'm so done with these rugby teams and their drama 😩. can't they just make up their minds already?! one minute it's all good, next minute Scarlets are fighting back like crazy 🤯 and Benetton is all "nope we're still in this" 💪. and don't even get me started on those late scoring opportunities... come on guys, focus 🙄! but I guess this draw works for both teams, i suppose... Scarlets can keep hoping for that Six Nations spot 🤞 while Benetton's just got to try harder next time 🏆.
 
I'm watching these rugby matches with my grandkids and I gotta say, what's crazy is how fast the game moves! These young lads are like athletes on steroids... I mean, they're already so fit and skilled, it's unbelievable. But you know what's even crazier? How much money these top teams are making off sponsorships and all that jazz. The Benetton guys must be raking it in, but at the end of the day, is it worth all that stress and competition? I don't think so...

That draw between Benetton & Scarlets was SO intense!!!! 😲 I mean, Benetton started off strong w/ Paolo Odogwu's try but Scarlets came back ROUGH 💥 Gareth Davies, Tomi Lewis & Macs Page all scored tries for them! Carwyn Leggatt-Jones' conversion was on point tho 🤩 But poor guy missed that last penalty attempt lol! 😂 Anyways, this draw is SO good 4 Scarlets - still got a shot at 6 nations qualification 🌟 Now Benetton's gonna have to regroup & try again... fingers crossed for them too 💪
 
Ugh, I'm so sick of all these rugby fans talking about how close Scarlets came to winning 🤦‍♂️. Like, yeah, they scored a bunch of tries and stuff, but they still ended up drawing against Benetton 😐. It's not like it's the end of the world or anything... Benetton is still super proud that they didn't get creamed by the Welsh team 🙌. And honestly, who needs to win all the time? It's just a game, right? ⚽️

I'm just saying, Benetton's gotta be like "what if?" now 🤔. What if they'd gone 3-0 or somethin'? Would they've been in? You'll never know 🤷‍♂️.
 
omg i just watched that game and it was so intense 🤯 i dont get how farias missed those penalties tho is he always like that? i mean benetton seemed to be on top then scarlets came back and scored 3 tries lol did they all come in like 2 mins apart or something? anyway scarlets are still in the running for six nations which is cool 🙌

I'm loving this game of rugby - it's all about the back-and-forth, right? Reminds me of our politicians always trying to one-up each other... anyway, where was I? Ah yes, so Scarlets are still in the running for a Six Nations spot, which is great news for Welsh fans. It's like they're putting up a good case for why we should invest more in our national team - you know, more funding and whatnot.

But Benetton, on the other hand, will be feeling pretty under-pressured now that they've missed out on a top-two finish. I mean, it's like they're saying "oh, sorry voters, we'll just have to try harder next time"... not exactly the kind of message you want from your leaders. Still, all in all, it's been an exciting match! 🏉👍
