A triple stabbing in the London Borough of Hillingdon has left one man dead and two injured. The 49-year-old dog walker, named locally as Wayne Broadhurst, was attacked on Monday evening at Midhurst Gardens in Uxbridge. He died at the scene after receiving treatment from paramedics.
Two other men were also seriously hurt in the attack. One of them, a 45-year-old man, was hospitalised with life-changing injuries while a 14-year-old boy sustained non-life-threatening stab wounds. The victim's identity has not been released.
The suspect, who is described as an Afghan national, was Tasered and arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder at the scene. He was taken into police custody after being hospitalised as a precaution.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Service are investigating the incident, which they say does not appear to be linked to terrorism. The police are working to establish any connections between the suspect and the three victims.
Residents in the area have been left shaken by the attack, with one neighbour describing the victim as "the last person on Earth that you would think somebody would go for." A group of people gathered outside the police cordon, leaving flowers and candles in memory of the victim.

this just got weird - a 49-year-old dog walker gets stabbed to death by some Afghan national who was Tasered on the spot... but no pic or vids of the suspect? 
seems like a big omission, you know? and what's with the "not linked to terrorism" label? how do detectives even make that call in under 10 mins?

. It's just not right, you know? I mean, what's going on with these young guys nowadays? 14 years old already getting mixed up with that sort of thing... it's just devastating for the family and friends of the poor bloke who lost his life

I'm not saying the guy who did it was justified or anything but sometimes these things happen and we're left to pick up the pieces 
. Can we really say that this isn't a symptom of something bigger?
I mean what's the point of all this violence? it's not like we haven't seen enough horror stories on the news already. 
and now the poor kid who got stabbed has life-changing injuries... poor little guy 
You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one. This senseless triple stabbing is a harsh reminder that our society still needs to find ways to address its growing violence problem. 
. And to think those two other blokes got seriously hurt too, one of them might never walk again 
. The police are saying it's not terrorism related, but I still can't shake the feeling that anything could happen anywhere in this city. So sad for the victim's family and loved ones
