Umm, I get why the US is trying to enforce some rules but suspending all migrant repatriation flights to Venezuela seems a bit extreme ... I mean, I'm all for keeping people safe but 80 folks stuck in a country with, like, real issues doesn't seem like a great solution either. And yeah, Trump's tweet was super not chill ... Like, come on, just have an actual conversation about the issue rather than resorting to tweeting threats. What if this is gonna escalate things even more? The Venezuelans are already dealing with so much stress and uncertainty ... I hope someone can step in and figure out a more balanced solution ASAP
omg this is sooo not cool... US just suspended all flights to Venezuela and like 80 migrants are stuck there now i feel bad for them, they're already in a super tough situation. what's going on with Trump? can't he just chill and talk about it in a calm way instead of freaking out on twitter the Venezuelan gov is saying this is an attack on their sovereignty and i gotta agree... how's this gonna affect our school's international relations club? we were supposed to have a project on Venezuela soon!
i think trump's tweet was a calculated move to show Maduro that us can't be pushed around . he's trying to create some space to negotiate or maybe just get a rise out of him . but honestly, it's kinda crazy for the US to just unilaterally suspend migrant flights without consulting anyone . what's next? declaring war or something ? also, can we talk about how this whole situation is just a mess ? 80 people stuck in venezuela with no way out... meanwhile, trump's just tweeting about it like it's some kinda game . not cool
