. It's hard to believe that our military would do something like this to people who are just trying to survive after being shipwrecked. I mean, what even is the justification here? The Pentagon's story about fighting narco-terrorists doesn't hold up when you see people who can barely breathe

I'm all for keeping our country safe, but not at the cost of basic human rights and dignity
. This is a huge red flag for me, and I think we need to be super cautious about how far this goes
