idk about this study tho i mean 3k steps a day is like, nothing lol but i guess if it helps prevent alzheimers that's all that matters right? so what kinda exercise would be good for me again? should i start with jogging or something and btw have you tried those new fitness apps everyone's talking about? do they work?
You know what's really weird about this study? They're saying that even a super small amount of exercise can help slow down Alzheimer's... but what if it's just a ploy to keep us all active so we don't notice the real agenda? Like, have you seen those ads for fitness trackers and wellness centers lately? It's like they're trying to get us hooked on being healthy so we don't question the system. And what about the fact that they found exercise helps reduce amyloid protein buildup? That just sounds like a fancy way of saying "they don't want us to notice the toxic waste in our air and water"
Ugh I'm so tired of these studies popping up all the time saying we just need to "move more" or "exercise more" to be healthy... like it's that easy My grandma had Alzheimer's and it was devastating We should know by now how hard it is to deal with this disease. I wish they'd come up with some real answers instead of just telling us to get off the couch But hey, if walking 5k steps a day can slow things down, I'm all for it
I think its really cool that a daily walk of like 3k steps can make a huge difference in slowing down Alzheimers. I've seen my grandma struggle with memory loss and it breaks my heart, but if just being active could help her stay sharp for longer... that's like, amazing! The study also makes sense to me 'cause I know how hard it is to get people to move more, especially as they get older. It's all about building those habits, right? So even if its just a few extra steps a day, every little bit counts... I'm gonna start wearing my fitness tracker and challenge myself to reach that 5k mark daily
I THINK THIS IS SO COOL!!! EXERCISING DAILY CAN TRULY HELP SLOW DOWN ALZHEIMER'S PROGRESSIONION! IF YOU'RE NOT USED TO WALKING A LOT, EVEN 3,000 STEPS PER DAY IS BETTER THAN NOTHING!!! I MEAN, WE ALL KNOW THAT SITTING AROUND FOR HOURS ON END ISN'T GOOD FOR US, SO GET UP AND MOVE ALREADY!!!
