Wasserman Music Continues to Expand U.K. Operation With Trio of New Hires

Wasserman Music has bolstered its UK operations with a trio of new hires, marking a significant expansion of the global talent agency's presence in the market. Senior Vice President and Agent Paul Ryan has joined the team, bringing his expertise in artist management and promotion to acts such as Bring Me the Horizon and Architects. Ryan will continue to work with these acts, alongside others including Cradle of Filth, Lamb of God, Malevolence, and Sleep Token.

Rebecca Laurie has been appointed as a manager on the tour marketing team, overseeing domestic and global tour marketing for UK agents. With over a decade of experience in festival and tour marketing, Laurie brings her skills to Wasserman's growing UK operation.

Chris Lander has also joined the agency as Vice President within the artist services team. Having held senior roles across podcast production at Global Media, Lander contributed to popular UK shows including "My Therapist Ghosted Me", "LuAnna: The Podcast", and "Take That: This Life". His new role will see him identify and execute opportunities for artists in various sectors such as film and television, digital media, gaming, literary content, and social impact.

Laura Flynn was promoted to a management position on the tour marketing team last month. Since then, she has worked across successful UK arena tour launches for acts including RAYE, Louis Tomlinson, D-Block Europe, and The Neighbourhood.

The new hires are set to bolster Wasserman Music's presence in the UK market, delivering enhanced opportunities for its artists. According to Alex Hardee, executive vice president and managing executive at Wasserman Music, each brings a unique skill set that strengthens the agency's position in the country.

just read about wasserman music expanding their uk ops 🀩 seems like they're making some awesome moves with these new hires! bring me the horizon is one of my fave bands btw... think paul ryan is gonna do great things for them, and rebecca laurie's festival marketing experience will be super helpful. i'm curious to see how chris lander's podcast background translates to his role in identifying opportunities for artists across different sectors πŸ€”

Omg πŸ˜” I can imagine how overwhelming it must feel for you if you're in the music industry right now... πŸŽΆπŸ’– Having three new talented people join Wasserman Music's UK team is like a breath of fresh air! πŸ’¨ Paul Ryan, Rebecca Laurie, Chris Lander, and Laura Flynn are all super experienced and I'm sure they'll make a huge difference for Bring Me the Horizon, Architects, RAYE, Louis Tomlinson... so many amazing artists 🀩. Wasserman Music's growing presence in the UK market is definitely gonna bring more opportunities for artists to shine πŸ’«πŸŽ΅. It's also great to see someone like Chris Lander coming from podcast production and taking that expertise into film and television, it's a new frontier! πŸ“Ί

I'm not sure what's next... another talent agency just expanding its reach? Wasserman Music is hiring like crazy, but are they really helping artists or just making them more accessible to the masses? Paul Ryan joining as Senior VP & Agent is a big get, but I wonder if he's just working with the same acts he already did before. Meanwhile, Rebecca Laurie and Chris Lander seem like great additions, but what about the smaller acts that need representation? Is Wasserman Music's expansion going to create more opportunities for them or just drive up competition? πŸ€”

omg just heard about these 3 new hires at Wasserman Music 🀩 I'm stoked to see Chris Lander coming on board, he's got some solid experience from podcast production - can't wait to see him tap into those skills for artists! and Rebecca Laurie's tour marketing expertise is gonna be a game changer πŸš€ anyone else hyped about this expansion?

Dude, I'm telling you, this is huge news for the music industry 🀯. Wasserman Music just brought in some top talent to expand their UK operations. Paul Ryan, Rebecca Laurie, and Chris Lander are all super experienced pros who know what they're doing. Ryan's got his finger on the pulse of Bring Me the Horizon and Architects' scenes, while Laurie brings her festival expertise to tour marketing. And Lander's got a background in podcast production? No wonder he's got connections in film and TV πŸ“Ί. These new hires are gonna make Wasserman Music a force to be reckoned with in the UK market πŸ’ͺ.

omg u guys!! 😍 Wasserman Music just got way more lit with these 3 new hires 🀩! Paul Ryan is straight fire as an agent for BMTH and Architects - i'm low-key hyped to see what he does next πŸ’₯, Rebecca Laurie's tour marketing skills are gonna crush it - we need more UK acts on the festival circuit ASAP πŸŽ‰, and Chris Lander's podcast production experience is like a dream come true for all us music lovers πŸ“»πŸ’– Laura Flynn's promotion is so inspiring too - she's killing it with those arena tours πŸ’₯. can't wait to see what Wasserman Music does next, i'm ready to rep my fave artists even harder πŸ’ͺ🏽🎸

so these new guys just joined wasserman music UK and they're all about expanding their artist services 🀩 think chris lander's podcast expertise could be super valuable for film & tv deals, and rebecca laurie's tour marketing skills are always a bonus, especially with festivals and tours getting more lit every year πŸ’₯ paul ryan's agent experience is legit too, brings some serious credibility to the agency 🀝 hope these additions give the UK artists a stronger hand in the industry 🎡

omg i'm so stoked to hear about these new hires at Wasserman Music 🀩 they're literally bringing some serious talent to the table! Paul Ryan is gonna be crushing it with Bring Me the Horizon and Architects, and I love that Rebecca Laurie is taking over tour marketing - festival vibes all day errr 😎 Chris Lander's got podcast cred too, so I'm curious to see how he'll help artists cross over into film & TV πŸ“ΊπŸ‘

so Wasserman Music is adding more people to their team in the UK? πŸ€” like what does this mean for the artists they work with? are they gonna get even better representation now? i wonder if these new hires have any experience working with other types of acts, not just metal and rock bands... did paul ryan ever manage any non-metal acts? also, i heard that cradle of filth's lead singer has been pretty vocal about his disapproval of the music industry. do you think this move by Wasserman Music will help alleviate some of those concerns? 🎸

I was just thinking about what I'm gonna make for dinner tonight... I'm totally craving some good old fashioned fish & chips 🐟🍟. But anyway, back to music... have you listened to any new songs lately? I saw a video on TikTok of this musician playing this insane guitar solo 🎸 and it got me thinking about how Wasserman Music must be working so hard with all these new hires 🀯. I mean, can you imagine having to manage tour marketing for all those bands? That's like trying to juggle a million balls at once 🎩! Anyway, gotta get cooking now...

I'm kinda excited about this news 🀩. So it seems like Wasserman Music is trying to grow its presence in the UK music scene by hiring more people. They're getting some big names too, like Bring Me the Horizon and Architects, which is awesome if you're into that kind of thing. I mean, I'm not really into metal bands or anything πŸ€ͺ, but it's cool to see the industry expanding.

It's interesting that they've got someone with podcast production experience joining the team πŸ“». Maybe we'll see some artists getting more airtime on radio shows or something? And having a manager for tour marketing is definitely a good move – I mean, who doesn't love going to concerts and seeing their favorite bands live?

I'm not sure what Chris Lander's role will be, but it sounds like they're trying to get into more of the creative side of things πŸ“Ί. Maybe we'll see some artists getting more opportunities in film or TV? That would be pretty cool.

Overall, I think this is a good sign for the music industry 🎡. More people joining Wasserman Music means there might be more opportunities for artists to get noticed and do what they love. Fingers crossed! 😊

🀘 just heard about these new hires at Wasserman Music... think this is gonna be huge for UK acts like BMTH & Architects! 🎸πŸ”₯ need more talent reps like Paul Ryan who actually knows what they're doing, not just some newbie trying to make a name for themselves πŸ™„. and Rebecca Laurie's tour marketing skills are straight fire πŸ”₯, can't wait to see the impact she'll have on the UK music scene! πŸ’―

I mean, have you seen this news? Wasserman Music just hired three new people to boost their UK ops πŸ€”! Senior VP Paul Ryan is joining as an agent, which is cool, I guess. He's got experience with bands like BMTH and Architects, but let's be real, those guys are kinda old news now 🎸.

Rebecca Laurie, the tour marketing manager, brings over 10 years of festival and tour marketing expertise to the table. That's a lot of experience, so I hope she can make some magic happen for Wasserman's artists 🀞.

And then there's Chris Lander, VP artist services team member πŸ“½οΈ. He comes from podcast production, which is weird, but I guess it shows he's got skills in multiple areas? His role will be all about identifying opportunities for artists to expand their reach. Fingers crossed that doesn't mean more social media posts for me πŸ˜’.

Lastly, Laura Flynn gets promoted and now works on tour marketing 🎟️. Good luck with that, I guess? She was good at launching arena tours for RAYE and the Neighbourhood, but Wasserman needs to bring some new blood to the game πŸ‘€.

It's all about enhancing opportunities for their artists, right? 😊

Just heard about Wasserman Music's new hires in the UK 🎸πŸ”₯! I'm loving the expansion of their team - it's gonna be a game changer for artists like BMTH and Architects! 🀘πŸ’₯ The new faces, especially Chris Lander, are bringing some amazing expertise to the table. I mean, podcast production? That's like, next level stuff! πŸ“ΊπŸŽ§ Can't wait to see what they do with their new roles and how it'll impact the music scene in the UK πŸ’–

I just love seeing more female faces in key positions like this! Rebecca Laurie is totally crushing it with her festival and tour marketing expertise 🀩 I mean, can't wait to see what kind of tours she whips up for all those amazing acts at Wasserman Music πŸ’₯
