! I mean, we always thought humans were the only ones with imagination, but now Kanzi's pretending game is giving us a whole new perspective. It's wild to think that apes can understand mental representation and make choices based on it too. What does this mean for animal cognition? Are they experiencing the same kind of creativity as us or something else entirely? 
I'm excited to see where more research takes us on this!

but its def making us reevaluate how we think about imagination and animals. like what if they can see scenarios in their heads too? that would be crazy
