Watch Tame Impala’s Cercle Set From Mexico City: ‘I’m Going to Remember This Forever, I Think’

Tame Impala's Kevin Parker brought a taste of Australia's doof dance scene to Mexico City's Parque Quetzalcóatl, where he delivered an intimate 90-minute DJ set that would stay with fans forever.

The October 10 performance was part of the album release celebration for Parker's new album 'Deadbeat', which has debuted at number one on Top Dance Albums and featured a collection of dance tracks inspired by his time in the Australian bush doof scene. A crowd of about 50 people, including an "intimately sized group", gathered around Parker to witness this unforgettable moment.

Parque Quetzalcóatl itself is worth noting - a private park that has been under construction for over two decades and features fantastical landscape design. The venue added another layer of uniqueness to the event as captured in newly released video footage, showcasing both the beautiful setting and the energetic set.

During his performance, Parker played an eclectic mix of tracks including songs by artists such as The Chemical Brothers, Daphni, Dog Blood, Rosalia, Orbital, Sonique, and cuts from the Tame Impala catalog. He even brought out his collaboration with Justice, "Neverender", before bringing the set to a close with a haunting rendition of tkT-Traxx's 'Mystery Land'.

In a poignant moment as he began wrapping up the performance, Parker expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the crowd and shared an unforgettable line - "I'm going to remember this forever, I think". He ended the night on high note with Tame Impala's 2025 single “End of Summer”, leaving fans reminiscing about that magical moment in the park.

Meanwhile, 'Deadbeat' has been making waves on charts, debuting at number one on Top Dance Albums and featuring another seven tracks from the album entering the chart this week.

Icon: 🎶 The fact that Kevin Parker's intimate DJ set was more than just a performance – it was an immersive experience with the beautiful Parque Quetzalcóatl setting is truly remarkable 🌳. The way he seamlessly blended his Tame Impala tracks with other dance classics created this electrifying atmosphere, I'm still buzzing from the energy 💥. His ability to connect with such a small crowd yet leave a lasting impact on everyone present is testament to his artistry and genuine passion for music 🎵.

And that setlist was on point! Playing those iconic tracks from Tame Impala, The Chemical Brothers, and even Justice... I'm totally here for it 🎶. And can we talk about how beautiful the setting is? The video footage is giving me all these feels 😍. Parker's gratitude to the crowd was so sweet, that line "I'm going to remember this forever" gives me chills 💔. The album 'Deadbeat' is officially on my radar now 📈🎶

I'm low-key obsessed with Kevin Parker's DJ set in Mexico City 🤯! The Parque Quetzalcóatl venue is insane - who needs a big festival when you can have an intimate 90-minute set amidst all that fantasy landscape design? 😍 I love how he brought out those hidden gems from his collaborations, like "Neverender" with Justice. And that final track, "End of Summer", gave me chills 🌅... it's clear he poured his heart into this album and the celebration was a labor of love 💖. The fact that he's still connecting with fans on such a personal level is truly special 👏.

omg this dude Kevin Parker is a total genius! I mean, who needs a huge crowd when you can bring 50 people to this epic private park in Mexico City and still rock out like it's nobody's business 🤣🎶 Tame Impala's live shows are always a wild ride, but this one takes the cake - or should I say, the doof 🍰. I love how he's blending all these different styles and genres to create this unique sound that's straight fire 🔥. And can we talk about Parque Quetzalcóatl for a sec? That place is like something out of a fantasy novel 🌳🏞️. Anyway, back to Kevin - the dude's just got talent pouring out of every pore 💖. I'm so stoked he's sharing his "Deadbeat" vibes with us, and I mean, who needs an encore when you can close out the night with a haunting rendition of "Mystery Land"? 🌃👻

man i'm still buzzing from that tame impala show in mexico city 🎉🌴 it was like kevin parker took us all on a wild ride through his favorite aussie tunes 🌊 he played so many of my fave tracks by chemical brothers, daphni and dog blood - it was like the whole room just let go and danced together 💃 but what really got me was when he pulled out that justice collab "neverender" it's such a special song for him and it felt so intimate seeing all those people singing along in this crazy-beautiful park 🌳 i mean, have you seen parque quetzalcóatl? it's like steven Spielberg came to mexico city and built this fantastical world just for the show 🎥 anyway, i'm still feeling the vibes from that show - "end of summer" is literally stuck in my head right now 😴 can't wait to see what kevin has in store next

🤩 I was lucky enough to catch some of Kevin Parker's set online 📹 and wow, what a vibe 🌴 he brought to Parque Quetzalcóatl! The energy in that park is insane 💥, it's like you can feel the music vibrating through your whole body. And Parker himself is just so cool, I love how he connects with his fans on a personal level, it's clear he's passionate about what he does 💖. That "I'm going to remember this forever" moment gives me chills 🎤... and who can blame him? The whole set was infectious! I've been listening to 'Deadbeat' nonstop since its release, that album is a game-changer for Tame Impala 🔥

Ugh, I'm still trying to process how they managed to squeeze an entire 90-minute DJ set into that tiny private park 🤯🎶 Parque Quetzalcóatl might be unique, but it's definitely not ideal for a music event. And can we talk about the crowd size? Like, 50 people? I'm sure it was super intimate, but also kinda awkward 😳. The setlist looked fire, though - love that he played some of those classic Chemical Brothers tracks 🎵

man that was such a special night 🌃! i loved how kevin parker brought that doof vibe to mexico city, it felt like i was transported back to the bush in aus 🏕️. and can we talk about parque quetzalcóatl - it's literally like steambotany from another planet 🌿👽. the crowd was so small but intimate, you could feel the energy in the air 💖. i'm still vibing to "deadbeat" and 'neverender' with justice, those tracks are fire 🔥! and that last song at the end... *sigh* it gave me major nostalgia for those late-night drives through the aus bush 🚗💨

omg I'm so stoked to hear that Kevin Parker brought that doof dance energy to Mexico City! 🌳💃 He's such a talented artist and it's awesome he could share his passion with only 50 lucky people who got to experience that special night 😊 Parque Quetzalcóatl is literally the coolest venue ever, I can see why they'd want to capture the video footage - it's like a whole different world in there 🌴 The way he mixed and matched tracks from different artists was genius, and that 'Neverender' collab with Justice? 🔥 Totally gave me chills! It's not surprising the album is doing so well on the charts, 'Deadbeat' has got some amazing vibes 💫

😒 I don't know how to take a performance like this without even being there! 🤔 The setup in Parque Quetzalcóatl sounds amazing, but 50 people as an "intimately sized group"? Give me a break! 💁‍♀️ A video of the whole thing is one thing, but I'm still trying to get a hold of my own DJ setup to make some decent tunes 🎶. Parker's eclecticism is cool and all, but can we talk about the production quality? 🎧 Did it even have a proper sound system or was that just him messing around with his laptops like everyone else 😂.
