Week 13 NFL straight up, against the spread, and survivor pool picks: Thanksgiving and Black Friday edition

Here are my picks for Week 13, covering all four games. Keep in mind that these are straight-up picks and not against the spread.

First off, let's look at the Packers-Lions matchup. The Lions have struggled to stop running backs this season, which should make them susceptible to Josh Jacobs' return. Jared Goff is still a bit of a liability on the road, so I like Green Bay here.
Green Bay 24, Detroit 13.

Next up, we've got the Chiefs-Cowboys game. The Cowboys have done an impressive job bouncing back from last week's loss, but they're going to struggle against Steve Spagnuolo's clever defenses. While Dallas is explosive, they're also error-prone, and I think Patrick Mahomes will get them into some trouble.
Kansas City 27, Dallas 20.

Moving on to the Bengals-Ravens matchup, Cincinnati needs a win here more than Baltimore does. Joe Burrow might be back in action, but it won't matter – the Ravens are just too good right now. Lamar Jackson and company should take care of business at home.
Baltimore 24, Cincinnati 10.

Finally, we've got the Bears-Eagles game. Chicago's offense is built to get points, and with Caleb Williams calling the shots, they might even be able to move the ball a bit more than usual. The Eagles are good on defense, but their coaching staff can't keep up with Ben Johnson's creative schemes.
Chicago 26, Philadelphia 20.

As for my survivor pool pick, I've got a long shot: the Chargers. Yes, you heard that right – Los Angeles is going to take down some serious competition this week. Don't be surprised when they pull off an upset on Sunday.

Now, let's move on to my picks against the spread:

Green Bay +3
Kansas City -3
Cincinnati +7

Ugh, I'm so sick of all these teams being predicted to win! The Packers are gonna get smoked by those Lions, no way they're scoring 24 points. Josh Jacobs is a beast, and Goff can't even keep up with him 🀣. And don't even get me started on the Chiefs - Mahomes is just too consistent for anyone to take down. It's gonna be like Dallas vs the world out there, but at least they're entertaining... wrong! They'll mess it up for sure.

"When it rains, it pours." πŸŒ¨οΈπŸ’¦ It seems like the Packers are going to pour all their points into the game against the Lions. Meanwhile, the Chiefs seem to be a sure bet for me, with no way they'll let the Cowboys "dive" into trouble 😏.

omg i'm so hyped for the chargers game this sunday!!! 🀩 i've been following them all season and they're finally starting to get some momentum. that 7 point spread is looking like a total steal, dont @ me lol πŸ€‘ my friend's cousin works for los angeles sports media and he told me they have a new streaming platform coming out soon that's gonna blow up the NFL experience! it's all about haptic feedback and augmented reality stats πŸ“ŠπŸ‘Ύ

I gotta say, I'm loving the Packers' chances against the Lions 🀩 Josh Jacobs is a beast and should give them some serious trouble. And can we talk about how Patrick Mahomes just tears up defenses like they're tissue paper? πŸ˜‚ The Chiefs are gonna have a huge game this week. On the other hand, I feel for the Chargers... that's a long shot but who knows, maybe they'll surprise us all πŸ€”. I'm also loving Caleb Williams' potential to get the Bears moving on offense, that could be some fun to watch!

I'm so confused by these NFL teams and their names 🀣... Like what's with the Packers? Are they from Wisconsin or something? And the Chiefs, I think they're from Kansas? Can't keep track of all this. Anyway, I do like Green Bay beating Detroit though 🏈... hope Josh Jacobs can run well for them. Don't really get how it works but sounds like a fun game to watch!

And what's with the Cowboys and their offense? They're explosive, but also error-prone? Sounds like they need some practice πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ. I'm rooting for Kansas City to win, Patrick Mahomes is so cool! πŸ’₯

The Ravens are always good at home, right? Like a team fortress or something 🏰... I don't really get how the Bengals struggle with running backs though. Maybe they're just too slow πŸ˜….

I like Chicago's chances against Philly, Caleb Williams sounds like a cool QB coach πŸ‘... and I'm all for Ben Johnson outsmarting the Eagles' defense πŸ˜„.

And oh boy, the Chargers are my long shot pick 🀯... how do they do it? Upset after upset! πŸŽ‰

I'm loving the confidence in these picks 🀩 but I gotta say, I've been keeping an eye on Josh Jacobs and he's been playing way better than expected. I think Green Bay might be taking a risk by going up 11 points against the Lions. How about they just take the spread instead of aiming for a big win? πŸ€‘

im kinda with the guy who thinks chargers can pull off a huge upset, but i mean... los angeles has been inconsistent all season πŸ€”. they've had some solid wins and crushing losses too. if they're gonna do it, they need to get their O back on track ASAP ⏱️. also, steve smith sr. is gonna make a big impact in this game, that's for sure πŸ˜‚

aww yooo 😊, i feel u about the chargers! underdog vibes all day long 🀜🏽. i think they got this πŸ’ͺ, even though it's a long shot 🎲, it's always fun to root for those guys 🌴. how's ur week looking so far? any excitement or just trying to stay on top of the games? πŸ“Ί

The NFL matchup predictions 🏈 are out and you know what that means... political analysis! Let's dive in πŸ‘Š. The Packers' win over the Lions seems like a no-brainer, but have you considered the economic implications of Josh Jacobs' return? The Packers' fanbase is notoriously expensive, and with more wins under their belt, they'll likely drive up ticket prices even further πŸ’Έ. Meanwhile, Jared Goff's road woes might be a symptom of the team's lack of investment in its quarterback position πŸ€”. It's like our politicians always saying we need to invest in infrastructure, but meanwhile, our quarterbacks are still getting paid minimum wage πŸ€‘.

Moving on to Kansas City vs Dallas... I think Patrick Mahomes' success is a perfect example of what happens when you prioritize the people over profits. The Chiefs' focus on offense and defense might be seen as elitist by some, but let's be real, it works πŸ’ͺ. And have you noticed how many teams are struggling with their coaching staffs lately? It's like our politicians always saying we need to reform government, but meanwhile, the ones running the show are still playing politics 🀝.

The Ravens' dominance is no surprise, but what about the Bengals' situation? They're like the working-class hero who just can't seem to get a break βš”οΈ. And then there's Chicago and Philadelphia... it's all about the economic mobility, baby! Caleb Williams might be able to out-coach Ben Johnson with his creative schemes, but at the end of the day, it's about who has the most resources πŸ’Έ.

And finally, Chargers against the spread? That's like our politicians saying they'll work across party lines... yeah right πŸ™„. Los Angeles is a perfect example of how capitalism can succeed when you put your money where your mouth is πŸ’°. Don't be surprised when they pull off that upset!

I gotta say, I'm loving the Packers' chances this week 🀩. They've been struggling on defense lately, but Josh Jacobs is a beast and should be able to exploit that weakness. On the other hand, I think the Cowboys are gonna have a tough time against Steve Spagnuolo's defenses - they're just too clever for them. And can you believe the Chargers as survivor pool picks? πŸ˜‚ That's like picking the underdog in a major boxing match! But hey, stranger things have happened right?

I love Josh Jacobs' return for Green Bay 🀩! The Lions have been struggling with running backs all season and I think Packers are gonna take advantage of it. Jared Goff's road woes are no joke... πŸ˜… But seriously, Packers are looking strong on both sides of the ball and I trust them to get that W. Go Pack go πŸ’š
