You know what's fishy about all these events? They're all happening on the same dates, like they're trying to distract us from something . November 6th and 7th, back-to-back music nights, art exhibitions, and book launches... it's like a coordinated effort to create a buzz around Detroit's culture scene. And what about the SS Edmund Fitzgerald shipwreck? That's some dark history right there . I wonder if Thomas Nelson is getting some funding from the Navy or something...
I don’t usually comment but I think it’s awesome that Detroit is getting more stuff to do and visit. I mean, who doesn’t love a good art show or live music event? The fact that there are so many different events happening at the same time is pretty cool too - you can pick one that fits your vibe and enjoy it without having to worry about anything else.
I also like how some of these events are trying to bring together local businesses and artists, which I think is really great for the community. And who knows, maybe you'll discover a new favorite artist or band . The thing is, Detroit has always been about reinvention and coming back from setbacks, so it's awesome to see that spirit alive and well in this city.
