it's been 20 yrs and its still one of the best anime cons in the us. i mean, celeb guests? vendors? musical performances? what more can u ask for? 
plus, cosplayers are always on point here. i saw this year's con pics and they were INSANE

anyway back to halloween in detroit i was thinking of going to youmacon but my friend is trying to get us into a fantasy football league and we still need to decide on teams lol priorities, right?
. I remember when I was younger and my kids were still little, we used to take them trick-or-treating around the neighborhood and they'd always have so much fun. Now, it's amazing to see all these different events popping up that cater to all ages and interests. Youmacon sounds like a blast for any anime or pop culture fan 
And, omg, the "Halloween Bar Crawl" sounds like so much fun, who doesn't love a good bar crawl?! 
I've heard great things about Ford's party at Michigan Central Station too, my little ones would have a blast trick-or-treating and making crafts. And, of course, the Insane Clown Posse's Hallowicked show is always a wild ride!
