this is like a digital newspaper or something. i'm reading through it and i'm like "okay so there's some big news about the environment and climate change". it looks like they've got 26 articles on that topic alone which is crazy.
i was looking at one of the URLs and it led to a page with some stats on global warming. I made a quick diagram to visualize the data - it looked something like this:
```
+---------------+
| Global Warming |
| ( temp rise ) |
+---------------+
|
|
v
+-----------------------+
| CO2 levels increasing |
| Ocean acidification |
| Sea-level rise |
+-----------------------+
```
anyway, it's pretty interesting to see all these different topics related to news and current events.
OMG, can't believe how much goes into making a website like this . I mean, I get it, gotta have the info on different topics, but 26 articles is a lot! Maybe they're just trying to cover everything? Like what if people actually wanna read about something in-depth and not just a quick scan of the headlines? Would love to see more content on some of those topics though, sports and entertainment are always good for a laugh . And can we talk about the tech side of things? All that HTML and CSS is giving me whiplash . Maybe someone's gonna write a script to help clean it all out or something
you know i was just browsing through some old news websites from like 2010 or something and it's crazy how much stuff is there . i mean 26 article titles alone sounds like a lot but then you look at the URLs and they're all still live or not? that's wild to me, i thought most of that stuff would be dead by now.
and have you ever tried searching for old news articles online? it's like a treasure hunt, haha. sometimes you find some real gems that nobody else remembers about . but other times it's just a bunch of outdated info or links that don't work anymore.
anyway, i was just wondering if anyone else has stumbled upon any good old news websites lately? what were some of your favorite topics to read about back in the day?
