Derrick White's impressive performance led the Boston Celtics to a convincing 146-101 win over the Washington Wizards on Thursday night in Washington. The Celtics' victory marked their eighth straight success and improved their overall record to 13-9.

White, who scored a season-high 30 points, also had nine assists and seven rebounds in the game. Jordan Walsh chipped in with a career-best 22 points for Boston, while Peyton Pritchard added 20 points and eight assists. The Celtics' bench contributed heavily as well, with Neemias Queta scoring 17 points and Afrernee Simons adding 16.

In contrast, the Wizards struggled to contain the Celtics' attack, failing to seriously challenge their lead in a dismal loss. C.J. McCollum led Washington's scorers with 22 points, but it was not enough to stem the tide as Khris Middleton also scored 15.

The Wizards' defeat marked their worst loss of the season and extended their losing streak against Boston to 10 games. Jaylen Brown, who had a standout performance just two nights ago, sat out this game due to illness.

The Celtics will look to keep their winning momentum going when they host the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night, while the Wizards will attempt to bounce back from their crushing loss by hosting Atlanta on Saturday night.
