Finland's election is a big deal and I think Sanna Marin got what was coming to her... 
pandemic response was a total mess 
she didn't act fast enough and people suffered for it 
I mean, if you can't handle the heat, get out of politics 
and yeah, I guess Steven Erlanger was right about her popularity tanking 
now we'll see what this new government does 
. I feel like the public's just finally waking up to how out of control it was back then. I'm not saying Marin wasn't trying, but Finland's got some serious issues with its healthcare system and she was at the helm during one of the worst times ever. The opposition party played it smart, presented a clear alternative and boom! She's out 
. It's all about accountability and keeping those in power on their toes 
. You can't just sit back and expect everything to be okay when people are suffering

. I mean, I've been saying she's due for a fall for ages, but still... It was her handling of COVID-19 that sealed her fate, and honestly, I think it's a bit harsh to just pin everything on that one thing . I know some people were like "what's up with the pandemic response?" and all, but I'm not sure if she's as incompetent as everyone makes her out to be .
. But did she really cause all that chaos? Wasn't it more like a bunch of different factors adding up to her downfall ? about Sanna Marin being outed from office. I knew COVID-19 was affecting Finland, but didn't think it'd impact her that much . It's crazy how politics can change so quickly, especially when people feel like their leaders aren't doing enough to protect them . I'm also kinda surprised by the opposition party winning - they must've done some solid campaigning 
. Guess you could say Marin got caught in a bad wave 
... just thinking about this... i mean, 5 years ago marin was all about being progressive and inclusive, but now it seems like the finnish people are craving something different. pandemic is a big deal, no doubt, but it's also a reminder that leaders need to be adaptable and put their citizens first. it's not just about being right-wing or left-wing, it's about making decisions that benefit everyone 
. maybe this is an opportunity for marin to regroup and come back stronger, but it's clear that the times are changing in finland
