Wisconsin attorneys weigh in on the possibility of a conviction integrity unit - Detroit Metro Times

I think it would be awesome if WI had a Conviction Integrity Unit 🤝🌟... I mean, who wouldn't want to review cases like that? Problem is, we gotta make sure they got the right people doing it and enough funding to actually do their job 💸📊. Also, I heard some of our prosecutors can be pretty aggressive with defendants, so that's a concern for me 😬... but overall, I think it's a great idea and could bring justice to all those ppl who've been wrongfully convicted 🙏💪

🤔 I mean, who wouldn't want to review cases and potentially free some innocent people from prison? Sounds like a solid plan to me... that they actually get the funding and staff needed to make it work 💸. It's just frustrating when you hear about all these past mistakes, like that whole Milwaukee police misconduct scandal... 🚔. Anyways, I guess it's good that some of these attorneys are speaking up. Just wish we'd see some actual action instead of just talking about it 🗣️.
