he's been crushing it as Warner Music Group's General Counsel for like 19 years now and still going strong! I mean, can you imagine how many deals he must have closed and how many artists he must have helped get their music out there? it's no wonder the Recording Academy is giving him this huge honor... ELI Service Award, no less! 
what really gets me is when he said it's not about him, but about serving his clients' agendas and adapting to the industry... that's so true for any lawyer, especially in music law. gotta stay on top of those changing trends and technologies!
