WNBA offers players' union a 30-day CBA extension as deadline approaches

I'm low-key surprised they're even considering extending the deadline 🤔... I mean, what's the point of having a CBA if you're just gonna delay negotiations forever? The players need some real change in their lives, and a few extra months isn't gonna make it happen 💸. We've been hearing about this stuff for ages now, and it's time for some concrete offers on the table 📝. Either they step up the game or the league needs to consider restructuring its entire model... it's not like they're gonna get any younger, you feel? 😒

man i dont get why they cant just agree on something already... its like the wnbas trying to push the players for more benjamins without giving them any actual control over their future contracts 🤑 the union is pushing for a bigger share of revenue and thats fair, but cathy Engelbert wants a 'transformative deal' which sounds like code for her wanting more power 💸

anyway i feel bad for the players who have to navigate all this drama on a daily basis. they deserve better than being taken advantage of by a league that can make billions in profits without giving them a fair cut 🙏

"It's not the years, honey. It's the mileage" 🚗💨 - Dolly Parton 😊 The 30-day extension is definitely a bumpy road for the WNBA players' union, but it shows they're willing to navigate through it together. I think the league and the union should be all about making that deal transformative for the players - after all, you reap what you sow 💸🏀
