man this northern gothic thingy is like totally amazing
i mean richie culver's album is like the soundtrack to my childhood summers spent at the seaside lol remember tracey chapman's fast car and how it seemed so personal? anyway i love how these artists are drawing from their own experiences growing up in these forgotten towns, its like they're bottling up all the emotions and feelings and turning them into music what's not to love about that? i'm also loving the fixed abode label rainy miller is doing some cool stuff with it too
