Harry Styles Pledges Tour Proceeds to LIVE Trust & Grassroots Scene

Harry Styles is set to rake in a whopping £900,000 for the LIVE Trust after pledging one pound from every ticket sold of his upcoming 10-night stand at London's Wembley Stadium this June. This significant donation follows in the footsteps of other influential artists who have already pledged funds to support grassroots touring venues.

The LIVE Trust was established last year with a mission to support the UK's grassroots music scene and distribute funding from concert proceeds. The charity has made headlines recently, revealing that over half of the country's grassroots music venues are unprofitable and require urgent intervention. In an effort to address this issue, the trust is set to receive £500,000 across various grant schemes.

The funds will be distributed among several organizations, including the Association of Independent Promoters, Oh Yeah Centre in Belfast, Wide Events in Scotland, Production Futures, and Music Venue Trust (MVT), which will receive £200,000. MVT will use its share to provide emergency support and increase efficiency for grassroots venues facing rising business and energy costs.

In addition, a U.K. artists' touring fund, delivered by the Featured Artists Coalition, Music Managers Forum, and Musicians' Union, will receive £125,000 to help artist costs when they seek to tour internationally.

Harry Styles is not new to supporting the music industry's grassroots scene. His pledge follows similar moves from Coldplay, Sam Fender, Katy Perry, Radiohead, Ed Sheeran, Lorde, and other influential artists who have voluntarily pledged funds to support touring venues.

The LIVE Trust has already seen significant milestones in its first year of operation, and this latest donation is a testament to the growing momentum behind the charity's mission.

I think it's really cool that Harry Styles is using his platform to give back to the music community 🤩. I mean, we all know he's already killing it with his music and tours, but by pledging 1p from every ticket sold at Wembley Stadium, he's showing that he genuinely cares about supporting smaller venues 👍. It's not just about him though, this is what other artists like Coldplay and Katy Perry are doing too 🌟. We need more people in the music industry to step up and help these struggling venues. The LIVE Trust is doing some amazing work and it's awesome that Harry Styles is joining forces with them 🎉. Let's keep the momentum going! 💪

omg i just got back from the most amazing road trip to Yellowstone with my fam 🌄🚗, we saw like a million bison and geysers... anyway did u know that wembley stadium has an underground tunnel system that connects all the different areas of the venue? it's crazy how much work goes into making those concerts happen 💥, and i love that harry styles is supporting the live trust - maybe one day they'll have a concert in yellowstone 🎸🏞️

😩£900k for Harry Styles' Wembley show? That's just crazy! He's got more dough than some entire music venues 🤑 I'm all for supporting the grassroots scene, but £900k feels like a lot for one guy's concert 🤯 At least he's doing something right, though - every penny counts when it comes to keeping these venues afloat 💸

I'm loving the fact that Harry Styles is using his platform for good 🤩. It's awesome to see influencers like him giving back to their community in such a meaningful way 💸. The LIVE Trust is really doing some great work, highlighting how tough it is for grassroots music venues to stay afloat 🌎. I'm glad to see artists banding together and using their funds to support each other 🤝. It's not just about the charity, but also about promoting a healthier music scene that benefits everyone 🎶. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good Wembley Stadium show? 🏟️ This pledge is a win-win all around!

🤔 I'm so proud of Harry Styles for giving back to his community! £900k is a huge amount, but it's just one percent of the ticket sales – still a lot of impact! It's amazing to see other artists following suit, like Coldplay and Ed Sheeran. 🎉 The LIVE Trust is doing some great work, and this donation will make a real difference for grassroots music venues in the UK. It's about time we started supporting our local music scene more – there are so many talented up-and-coming acts who need help getting started! 🌟

I'm loving that Harry Styles is using his massive platform for good 💖. £900k from one concert? That's insane! But what I'm really excited about is how this sets an example for other artists to follow 🤩. It's not just about writing a check, it's about making a real impact on the industry.

And let's be real, these grassroots venues are struggling to stay afloat 🌊. The fact that over half of them are unprofitable is just crazy 🤯. So, for artists like Harry to be willing to give back and support these organizations, it's a huge win 🎉.

I'm also stoked to see the different organizations involved in this initiative 🤝. It's not just about one charity or artist, it's about collaboration and community 💕. And with influential artists like Coldplay and Radiohead leading the charge, I think we're going to see some real change soon 🔥.

I think it's really cool that Harry Styles is getting involved with the LIVE Trust 🤩. It's not just about him giving back, but also setting an example for other artists to follow. I mean, we've already seen some big names like Coldplay and Ed Sheeran doing their part, so it's awesome to see someone like Harry Styles leading the way. This just goes to show that when people with influence do something good, it can make a real difference in the music scene 🎶.

I'm loving that Harry Styles is stepping up with another sick donation 🤑🎵. I mean, £900k for the LIVE Trust is insane! And it's not like he's just slapping in some cash and calling it a day - his whole 10-night stand at Wembley is generating millions in ticket sales, so that's gotta be worth something to him 💸. But seriously, it's awesome to see these influential artists getting behind the cause and supporting their own community 🤝.

I was thinking about how this all ties into the bigger issue with grassroots venues being unprofitable... like, who needs 'em if they're not breaking even? 🤔 It's great that MVT is gonna get some of that £200k to help out, 'cause I'd hate for any more good venues to get shut down 💔. And the touring fund for UK artists is a big deal too - it shows these big names are willing to support smaller acts and all that jazz 🎸.

But what really gets me excited is how this charity's momentum is growing... like, in just one year they're already making waves and getting more people on board 🌊. Can't wait to see what the future holds for the LIVE Trust!

idk why harry styles is trying to make a difference now, he's been raking it in for years lol 🤑 but seriously, £900k is still a decent chunk of change. i think its cool that other artists are following his lead and contributing to the live trust. problem is, 500k isn't gonna cut it if half of the country's music venues are struggling. what's the plan there? just throwing money at the problem or making some real changes? 🤔

I'm lovin' that Harry Styles is doin' his part for the music scene 💕. It's awesome that he's willin' to support grassroots venues, especially with all the struggles they're facin'. I mean, it's not just about the money, but also about showin' that artists care about the people who make their shows happen 🎸.

I've been to some amazing gigs in my time, and I know how important it is to have a good venue. It's not just about the music; it's about the experience, the energy of the crowd... everything 🌟. So, kudos to Harry for takin' a stand and helpin' out where he can.

And, let's be real, it's not like he's doin' this 'cause he has to 🤑. He's actually puttin' his own money on the line, which is just incredible 💸. It's great to see other artists followin' suit too. Maybe we'll see a whole movement of artists supportin' each other and the scene 🤝?

Ugh, I'm literally so happy for Harry Styles right now 🤩! He's always been an amazing performer and a total sweetheart. And can you even believe he's donating £900k from his upcoming concert at Wembley?! It's insane how much of an impact these big artists are making by giving back to the music scene 🙌. I mean, think about all those struggling grassroots venues that need help just to stay afloat... it's heartbreaking 💔. But Harry's pledge is like, super empowering! And let's be real, it's not just him - we've got other amazing artists like Coldplay, Sam Fender, and Katy Perry chipping in too 🎉. The LIVE Trust is doing some incredible work, and this donation is literally the icing on the cake 🍰. Can't wait to see what else they do next!

man... 900k for just 10 shows? 🤯 that's like, a lot of clout right there 💪 but you know what's even more wild? it's not about the money (although it's def helpful) - it's about the fact that he's using his platform to amplify these grassroots venues that are literally keeping the UK music scene alive 🌟 i mean think about it, without these small venues, we wouldn't have places like Wembley Stadium in the first place... they're all connected, you know? 💕 so yeah, Harry Styles' donation is more than just a PR move - it's a real commitment to the community and the art form 🎨

🤔 so like what's up with Harry Styles doing a £900k donation for his concerts? seems like a lot of money just to help some grassroots venues 🤑 but I guess it's cool that he's supporting the music scene and all that 💕 anyway, I wanna know more about how this LIVE Trust thingy works... is it legit? what's the real goal here? where's the info on the other artists who pledged funds? seems like we're just getting surface-level info 🤷‍♂️
