this is sooo not a clever tactic, it's like they're trying to pull a fast one on their own people. I mean, what's next? They'll tell everyone the protests are being held peacefully when really they're just cracking down hard 
and no internet access is just gonna make things worse. I've got friends who live in Iran and trust me, they need to know what's going on. All this secrecy is just gonna fuel more dissent & unrest

. It's like they think we can't figure out what's going on even if we don't have all the info online. Like, come on, people are smart enough to piece together some stuff with no internet. This is just them trying to control every aspect of our lives and hide the truth from us. I MEAN, WE HAVE SOCIAL MEDIA AND NEWS OUTLETS HERE IN THE WEST THAT KEEP US INFORMED 24/7, WHY CAN'T THE IRANIANS HAVE THAT SAME ACCESS TO INFORMATION?! IT'S NOT FAIR AND IT'S NOT RIGHT. THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE WORKING TO TRANSPARENCY RATHER THAN TRYING TO CONTROL WHAT PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT THE PROTESTS.
