Marshall's new Heddon hub adds multi-room audio to speakers with Auracast

Marshall is giving its loyal customers a major audio upgrade with the launch of its new Heddon music streaming hub. For the low cost of $300, users can seamlessly sync multiple older Marshall Bluetooth speakers together to create a cohesive multi-room audio system.

Unlike traditional Wi-Fi-based solutions like Sonos' audio devices, the Marshall Heddon uses Auracast technology to stream audio between devices. This means that once you've connected your speakers and hub to your chosen streaming service via Wi-Fi or another supported device, the Heddon can share the audio seamlessly with your Acton III, Stanmore III, or Woburn III speakers.

The Heddon is more than just a handy add-on for existing Marshall speakers, however - it also includes RCA ports that allow you to connect other speakers or a record player to the system. And while the hub does require a Wi-Fi connection, Marshall promises that future software updates could bring new features to the table.

For those already invested in the brand's speaker lineup, or planning to build an audio system with them, the Heddon is definitely worth considering. And if you're looking for a more affordable entry point into multi-room audio, Marshall is offering a special deal: eligible Acton III, Stanmore III, and Woburn III speakers can be paired with a Heddon hub at half price, or the hub can be included for free when buying two or more of those models.

idk why marshall would wanna make it so complicated lol! its just gonna cause more issues than its worth ๐Ÿคฏ and what's up with the RCA ports tho? didnt they used to be standard? anyone else think its a waste of money at 300 bucks for that thing? i mean if i wanted multi-room audio, ill just use spotify connected speakers or somethin ๐ŸŽต

๐ŸŽต so i think this new heddon thing is pretty cool!
it's like having multiple rooms in one house without breaking the bank ๐Ÿ’ธ and i love that it uses auracast tech - it's way more reliable than wifi, am i right? ๐Ÿ“บ
but what really gets me excited is that you can connect other speakers to it too, like a record player! ๐ŸŽถ that opens up so many possibilities for creating these epic multi-room audio setups...
and let's not forget the price - $300 is def a good deal for all the features they're throwing in ๐Ÿ˜Š
anyway, i think this heddon thing has some serious potential to become a game-changer for home audio ๐Ÿš€

๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™‚๏ธ just when you think you've got your home audio sorted out, another tech update comes along and screws everything up... think about it, $300 for a hub that's only gonna get outdated faster than your current speakers ๐Ÿšฎ and now they're trying to make us pay twice (or half price) for the speakers we already own? ๐Ÿค‘ sounds like a racket to me, hope people don't fall for this ๐Ÿ˜’

omg i'm so stoked about this new marshalls heddon music streaming hub ๐Ÿคฉ! anyone who's been eyeing multi-room audio but didn't wanna break the bank is gonna love this deal - half price or it's free for certain speakers? that's like, totally a no-brainer ๐Ÿ“ˆ. and the fact that it uses auracast tech instead of wifi means it'll be way more seamless than those other solutions...can't wait to try it out and start jamming with my friends at home ๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’ป

I'm not sure how I feel about this new Heddon thing from Marshall ๐Ÿค”... on one hand, it's cool that they're giving their loyal customers an audio upgrade without breaking the bank ($300 is still a pretty decent price, imo). And I love the idea of being able to connect multiple speakers together for a seamless multi-room system - it's like having your own personal sound system at home! ๐ŸŽง However, I do have some doubts about how well this Auracast tech will work out in practice... have you guys tried anything like this before? And what about the future software updates? Will they actually bring new features or just be more of the same? ๐Ÿ˜

I think this new Heddon music streaming hub is gonna blow my mind ๐Ÿคฏ! I've got a bunch of older Marshall Bluetooth speakers and they're always been super reliable, so the idea of syncing them up seamlessly with the Heddon is amazing. And the fact that it's way cheaper than those other multi-room audio systems like Sonos? That's a major win in my books ๐Ÿ’ธ. Plus, having RCA ports to connect other speakers or a record player is gonna be a game changer for me. I've already got a bunch of Marshall speakers and I'm definitely getting the Heddon... but now I just need to convince my partner to splurge on it ๐Ÿ˜…

Ugh, $300 for the Heddon music streaming hub is still kinda steep imo ๐Ÿค‘... I mean, you gotta have multiple older Marshall Bluetooth speakers to get any real use outta it, and even then, it's gonna be a hassle to set up. And don't even get me started on the software updates - like, what if they decide to limit the features or make us pay for 'em? ๐Ÿค” The fact that it uses Auracast tech is kinda cool, I guess, but can we just have a more straightforward way to connect speakers instead of having to jump through hoops? ๐Ÿ˜ฉ

man i'm so down for this new heddon thing ๐Ÿคฉ - multi-room audio is def a game changer...but gotta say, $300 might be a bit steep for some ppl...i mean, it's not like you're getting a whole new speaker system or anything...just an upgrade to the speakers u already have ๐Ÿค‘. and what's up with the wifi connection reqs? can't they just make it more wireless-friendly from the get go? ๐Ÿ˜• still, if u already got marshall speakers, this is def worth checking out...especially w those sweet RCA ports for connectin other stuff ๐Ÿ‘

Just got wind of this new Marshall thingy and I gotta say its kinda cool ๐Ÿค” they're offering a decent deal on their older speakers too which is nice, not many companies do that. The fact that it uses Auracast tech makes me think its gonna be pretty seamless to set up, no hassle with complicated wiring or anything like that. But I'm curious about the software updates, will they keep adding new features or just stuck on one version of things?

I just heard about this new Heddon thingy from Marshall... ๐Ÿค” it's like they're trying to help you make your old speakers sound way cooler. I mean, who doesn't love having their tunes sync up across rooms? It's like they're saying, "Hey, life is all about connections, not just with people but also with our stuff." And yeah, it's $300 which might seem steep at first, but think of it as investing in a whole new way to enjoy your music. Like, you can't put a price on the joy of good vibes, right? ๐Ÿ˜Š

I'm loving this new tech from Marshall ๐Ÿคฉ. I mean, $300 is kinda steep but if you're all about that multi-room audio life then it's worth every penny ๐Ÿ’ธ. The fact that it uses Auracast tech to stream audio between devices is like a breath of fresh air ๐ŸŒฟ. And the RCA ports are genius - my old speakers were dying to be upgraded ๐Ÿ˜‚. Plus, Marshall's got some sweet deals for existing customers and people looking to get into multi-room audio... sounds like a win-win to me ๐Ÿ‘ [https://www.cnet.com/news/marshall-...shall-heddon-multi-room-audio-system-review/)

I'm so stoked about this new Heddon thing from Marshall! ๐Ÿคฉ I mean, having multiple Bluetooth speakers syncing up in perfect harmony is like, totally a game-changer. It's perfect for people who love music and want to create this epic multi-room audio setup in their homes. Plus, the fact that it's relatively affordable at $300 is a major win. And if you're already invested in the Marshall speaker lineup, what's not to love? They're offering some great deals too, like getting the hub for free when buying two or more Acton III speakers... that's just genius! ๐Ÿ˜Š
