Meta's Chatbot Will Provide AI-Powered Live News via CNN, Fox News

🤔 I mean, think about it... if Meta's got its chatbot getting info from CNN and Fox News in real-time, that just means they're gonna pump out whatever's trending on those channels. It's like they're trying to create this illusion of objectivity when really they're just serving up whatever sells the most. I'm not saying it can't be a good thing for journalism, but come on... we've seen how Meta "helps" publications before and it's always ended in disaster 🤦‍♂️

🤔 I'm not sure what's more concerning, the fact that Meta's chatbot is getting real-time news updates or the fact that it's partnering with CNN and Fox News 📰😒 I mean, can't they just leave journalism to the journalists? It feels like another way for them to shape the narrative and push their own agenda. And let's be real, who needs unbiased information when you've got a chatbot spouting out whatever Meta wants? 🤷‍♂️ This whole thing is just a big experiment in control... of our perceptions 💡

Ugh, Meta's latest move just smells like another PR stunt to me 🤔💸. They're trying to swoop in and save journalism by partnering with major news orgs, but I'm not buying it 💔. We all know their track record on this front is sketchy at best... remember that "Trending news" module debacle back in 2016? 🙄 And let's not forget about their attempts to boost video revenue at the expense of actual journalism 😒.

I'm also skeptical about them claiming they're committed to diverse sources when it's probably just a way for them to push their own agenda 🤥. What's to stop them from cherry-picking stories that fit their narrative? It's like they think we're all just going to take their word for it... newsflash: we're not 😒.

It's time for Meta (and other tech giants) to put their money where their mouth is and invest in actual journalism, not just PR stunts 🤑. Until then, I'll be taking this partnership with a grain of salt 💸👀.
