Metro Bank's credit file markers are adding to the pain of our son's death

😔 I'm not gonna sit back and let everyone go easy on Metro Bank here... they're not entirely in the wrong 🤑. Yeah, I get it, Alex's family had some tough times, but banks have to deal with loads of customers, right? You can't be best mates with everyone 🤝. It's a catch-22, really - if you're too understanding, people take advantage of that 😒. Maybe Metro Bank should offer more flexible repayment plans or something, but expecting them to just wipe the slate clean because Alex passed away is unfair 💸. I mean, Nationwide refused a remortgage app on account of those markers... what's the point of having a credit file if you're just gonna use it to hold people back? It's all about finding that balance 🤔

Ugh 🤕 I'm literally so upset about Alex's family situation! Like, I get it, Metro Bank needs to do their job, but come on 🤑, they could've been more understanding. I mean, Alex was going through mental health issues and got sick, you can't just put late payment markers on someone's credit file without considering the circumstances 🤷‍♀️. And Nationwide refusing to remortgage them because of it? That's just cruel 😡. Like, banks need to be more proactive in supporting people who are struggling financially, not just waiting for them to get their act together 💁‍♀️. I wish Alex's family all the best during this tough time 🤞, but also, I'm totally with the advocates on this one 👏.

Its so heartbreaking what's happening to Alexs family 🤕...I mean, I get it that banks gotta keep an eye on their finances and all but sometimes they just gotta bend a bit more for people who are really struggling. Its not fair when they get hit with late payment markers without even being told or having a chance to explain themselves. Like, how hard is it to show some compassion and understanding? 😔

Man, its crazy that Metro Bank just kinda threw Alex's family into a financial hole after he passed away... 🤯 like, they were already grieving, you feel? And then Nationwide comes along and makes it even harder for them to remortgage or whatever. Its all about understanding and being empathetic towards people who are going through tough times, you know?
