idk how the oscar voters do it ... i mean, 16 nominations for sinners? that's crazy! but then again, who doesn't love a good underdog story? it's def not just about luck, though - those people put in some serious work. and yeah, international representation is super dope japan, south korea, brazil... all these amazing stories finally getting the recognition they deserve so fingers crossed for sinners (or american dream)... can't wait to see who takes it all home

I'm shocked that "American Dream" didn't make it . I mean, I've seen some buzz about it, but 0 nominations? That's just crazy talk! On the other hand, 16 nominations for "Sinners" is wild . I get what Jazz Tangcay is saying, that it's not always a direct correlation between noms and actual quality, but still... 16?! I'm rooting for "American Dream" now, just to see if they can pull off the upset But hey, international films getting recognition is awesome . Maybe this is the year we'll finally get some global love at the Oscars? Fingers crossed!

OMG, 16 Oscar nominations for Sinners?! That's like, crazy! I mean, I can see why people thought it had a good shot at getting more recognition, but 16? That's a lot! man I'm thinking about what it means when our expectations aren't met like with "American Dream" not getting nominated for Best Picture... is it a reflection of its actual worth or just the hype around it? and what's going on with "Sinners"? is it really deserving of 16 nominations or are we just caught up in the excitement of something new? I feel like this highlights how hard it can be to predict what will resonate with people at any given time , but at the same time, I'm glad to see more international films getting recognition – maybe that's a step towards a more diverse and inclusive awards season .

omg I'm so confused about the Oscar nominations this year! 16 nominations for "Sinners" is CRAZY and I'm glad they're finally getting some international love especially from Japan , South Korea , and Brazil . I mean, it's not like the film is bad or anything but 16 nominations feels kinda...overwhelming?

I'm still rooting for "American Dream" though I love a good underdog story and I think it has some real potential . But at the same time, "Sinners" does have that broad appeal thing going for it which can't be ignored .

either way, I'm SO here for the drama and the suspense leading up to the ceremony it's gonna be a wild ride!
